Such a great wedding venue!
One of my best friends just got married here and it was absolutely stunning! It was perfect for her fairy tale Disney themed wedding. They did an exceptional job at coordinating the day and fixing any mishaps.

We had an amazing wedding! Ashley was very easy to work with. We had a great day, our only complaints are we felt the tables were sat too close to each other, it was pretty hard to navigate thru them. We also felt the automatic 20% added for gratuity was excessive for a buffet dinner and we didn’t realize that 20% was automatically added to our bar tab as well. You can’t go wrong with this destination!

Came here to check the place out looking for a wedding venue. We were greeted by the receptionist right when we walked in and offered beverages. Katie Armstrong showed us around, we were really impressed with her knowledge and flexibility. She showed us the break down of the prices and the vendors and was really accommodating to our needs. I love this venue and they have excellent customer service. We ended up booking a different venue for our wedding but I was so impressed by this place that I had to write a review. I will definitely keep this place in mind for future events.

Grand Tradition popped up on my search through wedding websites. The website opening page is exactly what you get when you see this beautiful venue. There are two venues to select from on the property, both wonderful. Unfortunately, the ceremony site I fell in love with on the website wasn’t available due to roofing work. They upgraded me to the another ceremony site that happened to be the best of both venues! The sales staff, including the director all greeted us and we’re so welcoming and friendly. My coordinator, Ashley was absolutely wonderful. She supported me and gave me suggestions when and where I needed them. She made sure that the wedding stayed on track and had no problems. I was and still am missing visiting the venue and the staff at Grand Tradition and cannot wait to go back for future anniversary celebrations!
Grand tradition also caters the wedding. It is included to the wedding package. It is worth every penny! They had a tasting event for the wedding couples where we could begin to decide which items to pick on the large menu. Each item was delicious! We got compliments not only on the venue but on the amazing buffet.
We received compliments from several Guests saying it was the most beautiful wedding they have attended. It was the wedding of my dreams.

My daughter had her wedding reception on 12.20.2015 at the Arbor Terrace venue. Bottom line, the best experience across the board. The food was fantastic, all the guests mentioned it was the best food at a wedding they have ever had… no stopping at the drive thru on the way home for our guests!!! The entire team was such a pleasure to work with, Mr. McDougal was just a class act, and all the help from Katie the manager and Amanda our coordinator was top notch. They made what could be so stressful, such a breeze. And the grounds at GT are just beautiful. Our pictures turned out amazing! We can’t say enough good things about the reception and whole wedding planning process, worth every penny we spent. It was truly a fairy tale come true.

We had our wedding in March 2015 in Beverly Mansion and we immediately fell in love with this venue after Carrie provided a wonderful tour of the property. Overall we were pleased with our wedding experience. Katie was our venue coordinator and overall we had a reasonable experience with her. This is an absolute beautiful venue but has some room for improvements.
Pro’s
The two Venues available, Arbor Terrace and Beverly Mansion are amazing and are picture perfect all around the grounds.
The overall business procedures, tour introduction and coordination with vendors completed by the venue was well structured.
Cons
The venue coordinators do not have work cell phones and can be difficult to get a hold of at times.
We had to continuously review the statement/​invoice to ensure the changes we requested were applied correctly and discounts offered were included and reflected on the statement. If we didn’t look carefully it could have been rather costly.
We had over 50 more seats put out during the ceremony than we requested and discussed with our coordinator. This triggered everyone to gather on one side and made it rather uneven which wasn’t great for pictures and video.
The staff hired for the wedding are generally very young. In our opinion the work could have easily been done with 50% less workers if they hired a more mature/​adult staff.
Another wedding was being held at Arbor Terrance and several of our guests told us after the wedding they were directed to the wrong venue.
We paid the venue for an extra hour but toward the end the staff wasn’t around nearly as much to help and we found ourselves looking for staff.
There is no online payment system, so you have to call in your credit card every time or send a check for payment.
Again, overall we loved the venue and would not have selected another location. We made several add-​ons (horse and carriage, compass garden ceremony, cocktail hour, additional hour, chocolate fountain, etc.) at a high price so I think it’s important to point out the areas which could have been improved and that you may want to be cautious of after selecting this venue.

While searching far and wide for a wedding venue I came across Grand Tradition Estate. The property is as beautifully stunning and regal as the name itself!
Don gave us a tour of the incredible place and I immediately fell in love with the Arbor Terrace Pavilion! I imagined my entire reception perfectly at that moment. I couldn’t believe I found such a gorgeous venue that had nearly everything I wanted!
Unfortunately, Grand Tradition Estate is also remarkably out of our budget and (with tears in my eyes) we had to cross it out of our list. Even with Don cutting a few costs to try to accommodate us it still wasn’t enough. I can totally understand how pricey this place is. I mean seriously – it’s a piece of heaven!!! But I just didn’t have the guts to put down that much money so we had to drop it.

My husband and I got married here in October. Besides it being about 100 degrees, the venue was perfect! They put out umbrellas for the guests, every meeting I had with the coordinator (Ashley) was excellent, the entire staff is kind and helpful. The Grand Tradition was exactly where I saw myself getting married. We rented out the Orchid Bar as well, which gave us access to the Compass Garden. The whole venue is beautiful, from the gardens, to the gazebo, the crystal chandeliers, the Beverly Mansion. I would recommend this venue to everyone! The staff is completely organized, communicating the entire event, the venue handles audio during the ceremony (which a lot of venues do not do). Their food was amazing! All my guests told me how surprised they were at how great the food was! Everything about the Grand Tradition is amazing, and made my wedding day everything I had dreamed it to be.

I honestly can’t say enough about this venue and staff. My day was absolutely perfect and Amanda, even after I went bridezilla on her, was a gem to work with. My wedding was honestly a Disney dream come true =)

One of the most beautiful venues on earth. Fountains, waterfalls, picnic baskets to enjoy on the lawn, southern charm mansion to enjoy brunch on the back porch overlooking a lake, water feature and gazebo. Great food including gluten free options too!!!

My husband and I got married at the Grand Tradition at Arbor Terrace last year in April.
Who would’ve known that this gem was hidden in Fallbrook! We were looking for venues and we instantly fell in love with the beauty of their tropical gardens. The ceremony and reception areas were gorgeous! Who wouldn’t want to get married in front of that waterfall backdrop unless you have a different vision for your wedding so… to everyone’s preference!
Our wedding coordinator was Megan Elliott and she helped me to plan the wedding of my dreams. They do have a list of preferred vendors (DJs, Photobooths, Flowers, Bakeries etc…) that you can use to make planning process easier. I basically described my vision to her and she helped to guide me through the entire process. Weddings are expensive so I mean you have to do your research prior to. Their rates are very much comparable to other venues. But don’t be surprised if you want premium items, market lighting or lanterns they come with an extra charge.
I’ve got to say though that I really did enjoy their food and so did our wedding guests! There is a separate garden area away from the guests for the bridal party to get ready at. For the ceremony and reception the grand tradition team help to direct your guests where to go. I even had a separate bridal helper in addition to my bridal party to help me with anything I needed during the entire event from helping tie my bustle, carry my dress or grab me a drink. The downside though of having your ceremony/​reception at Arbor Terrace is that the party does end a little bit early around 9−10PM so that may be a little discouraging for those who want to party all night long! They do have the option to do the sparkler send off if you buy your own sparklers!
It was just an amazing experience for my husband and I.
There are 2 other areas on the property to have your ceremony including the mansion for a more luxurious feel with the horse drawn carriage. So it may be possible on the day of your event to have other parties happening in addition to yours. There are other events that the Grand Tradition hosts in addition to weddings. They also offer Brunch at the Mansion where you have a beautiful view of their heart shaped lake. I could describe more but I think that you would just have to check out the grounds yourself and physically visualize the property.
The staff was just wonderful! Definitely must check out the Grand Tradition if looking for venues.

I would recommend the Grand Tradition to anyone looking for a ceremony and reception venue in Southern California. Their property is absolutely beautiful. We got married in August and the Grand Tradition location and staff made my dream wedding come true. They took care of everything and allowed my husband and I to actually enjoy our wedding ceremony and reception. They made sure we were all taken care of and never came to us with any problems– they handled it all and our wedding turned out perfect. I can’t even think of one issue or complaint!
Upon reserving our date and our first tour with Jennifer, who was so sweet, we knew instantly that this was where we wanted to get married. Jennifer followed up with us and even remembered us by name at the food tasting event (this was super impressive given the amount of people that were there)– this is the type of service you get at the Grand Tradition.
As for the wedding planning and wedding day itself– we were assigned a coordinator to assist us with the process and I cannot say enough great things about our coordinator Ashley! She was always quick to respond to all our emails/​phone calls and even when we changed things at last minute– she was always accommodating and made us feel taken care of. We owe the success of our wedding to her! Ashley, you were a pleasure to work with and so incredibly sweet/​detail oriented– thank you for all that you did for us.

My cousin got married here. It is a beautiful place and they took great care of us. I was not in on the planning part (or the paying part) but I can give you a picture of what we saw from the guest perspective.
The ceremony was held in a little garden in front of a waterfall. It was intimate and private. We could see the couple and the bridal party up close. They had microphones, so we didn’t miss what the minister said, nor did we miss the vows. (Very important if you write your own).
Then while the family and the bridal party took more pictures, there was a reception area where we had appetizers and drinks. The bar offered many different options, 5 beers on tap plus other bottled choices, multiple wines and other top shelf choices.
Dinner was inside a large tent, which provided shade/​shelter but wasn’t cheesy. The food was excellent, carved roast beef, Mahi Mahi with mango salsa, and sides. Be sure to get the spinach salad. Had fresh blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries in addition to feta and a sweet vinigrette dressing. I went back for more of this… very nice. They also made the wedding cakes which were moist and sweet. They didn’t have the «day or two old» taste that wedding cake sometimes has when it is prepared ahead of time. I don’t know if they made it that day or not, but it sure tasted like it. Again, a job well done.
To summarize, this place is top notch. Food, service and bar outstanding. You, your family and your whole party will be well served and well taken care of.

My husband and I got married here over Memorial Day Weekend. We got married in the Beverly mansion side of the property. Ashley was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing, anyone who has her as their coordinator is extremely lucky. She is always there for her bride throughout the whole wedding planning process and throughout your wedding day. The staff is extremely helpful and is there to help the bride and groom have their perfect wedding day. The food is amazing and not your typical bland wedding food.
All of my guest could not stop complimenting my husband and me about the Grand Tradition. They said that this venue is one of a kind, absolutely gorgeous hidden gem in Southern California.

All-​inclusive wedding for 125 people (reception dinner buffet, hosted bar w/​beer and wine)

The gardens were really lovely, smaller than I had thought though. We went on Easter because we thought it would be a nice thing to do for the Holiday. I checked the website and all that, it was open, good to go.
However, when we got there, they told us they were closed to the public for their private, reservation only, Easter brunch. This was not on the website. Had this been, w e would have chosen another day. Luckily, they let us in, since they checked the website and saw this was their mistake, and not ours. But it was VERY awkward being the only people there not involved in this brunch/​small child easter egg hunt situation.
I do appreciate them catering to the issue though, but they should be sure to have correct info on their site!

My fiancé and I had an appointment here last Friday to check out the grounds for our wedding next year. We met with Carrie who was extremely nice and informative. When we first met her, she asked if wehad any other appointments she should be aware of so she knows how much time she has. When told our next appointment wasn’t til later in the day, she showed excitement and said, «perfect! so we can have lunch!»
She took us back into the office and made sure our date was available and confirmed which venue we’d be using. We started our tour and made sure to let us know she’d be giving us A LOT of information but she had it all in writing when we came back, so we didn’t need to take notes or anything. She started with the history of the property and letting us know what was going on around our selected date. As we reached the beginning of the venue, she showed us everything from dressing rooms, bathrooms, ceremony spots and everything in between. She walked us threw our wedding day, how our guest would be greeted, where’d they go and also where we would be the entire time.
When we got back to the office, we went over everything she pointed out at the site like she said she would. She even had the normal weather reports for the month we selected and showed great knowledge of everything we discussed. She asked questions to make sure everything was right and so she could provide us with an estimate inclusive with everything we want. She went over the estimate with us to make sure we understood everything on there. Without question, my fiancé and I were ready to put the deposit down which we did. Carrie got us both a drink of our choice (mimosa & raspberry champagne) to celebrate!
After all of that, she had another employee come to seat us at our table for lunch. The food was absolutely AMAZING and completely shocked us. We tried different things and couldn’t stop thinking about the experience! When it was time to get the bill, we had a card in the billfold addressed to, «Our Grooms» instead of having to pay for our meal, Carrie comped our entire bill and thanked us for letting them be a part of our special day.
Days later, we’re still boasting about our experience here. I can’t wait for our wedding and to get everything going!

I got married here in May 2014 and honestly this was the most amazing venue EVER! Everything about it was just about perfect.
TWO THINGS TO REMEMBER TO TELL THEM TO DO IF YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED HERE!
1) Have them keep your guest book/​picture out the ENTIRE time! They put ours away and over half our guest never saw it or were able to sign it (including my parents).
2) If you have flowers for the aisle and they move them into where the food is served after the ceremony and you would like to give them to give to your guests or keep them for yourselves make sure to tell them. They threw mine away RIGHT AFTER the buffet was closed. SUPER annoyed by that, they didn’t even ask what I wanted to do with them.
Those are literally the ONLY things I have to say that are «negative».
The grounds, staff, and food are all impeccable! Ashley was our assigned wedding coordinator and she was just wonderful. Super accommodating and just overall a lovely person. We are still having people tell us what a beautiful wedding it was and how AMAZING the food was! (IT WAS SO GOOD!)
A few months after our wedding was over we received our «wedding corps» card which allows us to come visit the gardens for FREE whenever we want and a free brunch for two every year during our wedding anniversary month. That to me is just another added bonus of why this place is so amazing. NO other venue does something like that. Their pricing is just as competitive (or better) than many of the venues around and you get SO much more for your money.

Absolutely beautiful here!!! This was one of the prettiest venues I’ve ever been to a wedding at! There is a beautiful water fall, lush landscaping and perfect lighting. The food was good, well executed and served hot. The bar service was fast and efficient, only complaint was the beer that was tray passed was on the warm side.
The restroom were clean and well stocked. Parking was super easy and plenty! We just loved it! Loved it!
