I love Dominick and his yummy Sammie’s! The girls are always so sweet. This is one of the first places I visited in Fallbrook. My husband is Italian and loves getting his Italian groceries! Thanks Dom, for such a delightful shop!

Not sure what happened Dominick’s. I’ve been eating there for over twenty years. The last three times it wasn’t good. That being said I went to the Main Street location the last three times. Curious if that’s the reason…

I always go out of my way when in Fallbrook to go to Dominick’s. Just had their Proscuiotto sandwich today for the first time… Holy YUM!!! Staff is always pleasant. Food is always good. Only four stars just because the actual sitting areas could use some sprucing up, elbow grease and love. Regardless though, this place is fab. One of my favorite sandwich shops in North County.

The best Italian Sandwich shop I’ve been to yet. My husband and I strolled in here for the first time the day after Christmas, and were warmly greeted by the gals working that afternoon. My husband did a cold salami sandwich and I did their veggie with local avocado. We got them to-go and did not eat them right away. Once we finally decided to eat, the quality was the freshest and non-soggy at all. The bread was perfect and the ingredients were all super tasty. We did a side of their potato salad too. Very good. They have a variety of sandwiches to choose from(hot or cold) and they all come with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, pepperchinis and mayo, but they ask you if you would like all of that or if there’s something you would prefer off the sandwich. This will be our go-to lunch spot the next time we are in town.

Not clean. I went during a busy lunch hour and had plenty of time to watch the food service while I waited in line. The same girls making sandwiches were also ringing orders and handling money. I didn’t see anyone wash their hands. Not even once. No gloves either. The food counter is not transparent, so you cant see the condiments or meats while your food is being prepared. Also, the import items for sale on the shelves had dust on them. All super big turn offs for me. I didn’t even try the food.

I love Dominick’s. My first choice for sandwiches in fallbrook. Hands down. Best meatball sammy in town. Also love turkey bacon avocado, salami and cheese. The list goes on and on. Stop in and try it.

They have good sandwiches, and if you like avocado then this place is for you. It’s not the best sandwich I have ever had, but it is certainly good! They are lacking a large bread selection, and that is my only complaint.

My wife and I were out for a Sunday drive, and wound up in Fallbrook. We were looking for a quaint, small-town type place to grab some lunch. We were not disappointed! What a great little place, and friendly workers! The hot pastrami sandwich was soooooo good, and it was huge! The bread was fresh, and the salad was great. The ambiance was just what we were looking for. We will be popping back in to this place if we’re ever over that way again!

Cute little mom and pop shop! Sandwiches, salads, and some pasta side options. I had a chicken salad. It was okay-nothing special. Perhaps the sandwiches are better something that I need to try next time. Very divey feel– very casual. Good if you are looking for a quick bite to eat. Seems like a place where the locals go.

These folks are always nice to me and make a great sandwich. It may not be gourmet but much better than Subway! The sandwiches are a generous size and at a reasonable price! Recommended…

No Gloves We heard this place has good sandwiches. We were already in line until I noticed the young guy made the lady’s sandwiches without gloves then rang her up, took her money without gloves. I was totally grossed out and we left.

I moved to Fallbrook a couple months ago and have heard that I MUST get a sandwich there. Finally got around to it yesterday and I from now on I will be demanding everyone I know that they MUST get a sandwich here. I had the avocado and cheese sandwich and it was AH-MAZING! Such a great variety to choose from I am so excited to go back and try something different!

I was skeptical about Dominick’s Deli at first. I married into a group of native Fallbookians, Fallbrookites, Fallbookers… whatever the term is, they grew up there. They all talked about this place like it’s the best sammich shop on the planet. I know from going back to Cincinnati, where I grew up, that some of the food you look back on so favorably isn’t that great when you revisit it as an adult(I’m looking at you LaRosa’s Pizza!). Was Dominick’s Deli Fallbook’s version of LaRosa’s? No. Dominick’s Deli is legit. This isn’t one of those California new-cusine, uppity delis where a sammich must be gluten-free bread, nonfat, vegan cheese with local veggies micturated upon by virgin angels AND costs you $ 16.95. This is good, honest, homemade, real food that you can pronounce and afford. The homemade bread is soft and flavorful, the ingredients are fresh and delicious and the price is reasonable. They do east-coast caliber old-school sammiches, sides and soups. I’ve eaten here several times, enjoying a wide variety of the menu and never been disappointed by anything I’ve ordered. The people that work there are friendly, fast and helpful. If you have some questions they have the answers. They know the menu inside and out. Dominick’s has a small Italian grocery in the store too. They offer high-quality and authentic olive oils, pastas, wines and condiments(among other stuffs). PROTIP: Call ahead to have your sammiches made ahead of time and then take them next door to Fallbrook Brewery to have a great lunch!

These sandwiches are THEEBEST! Just period, awesome. The bread is always soft and fresh, their cheeses and meats are great. I highly recommend the roast beef and cheese, my favorite. I also love that you can get a kid’s sized pasta with meat sauce for 75 cents. My family goes here often and we love it everytime! I’ve read in a couple of reviews that the staff is grumpy? I have never had a problem with the staff, always pleasant when I’ve gone. Although, they can get pretty busy around lunch time, then it’s pretty much all business! Order, sandwhich, check out. But I’m ok with that, the faster we get our food the better!

Sandwich was ok while eating it… nothing really special. but THEN! I got really sick later! I believe it was food poisoning since I had nothing else that day! And I know what food poisoning feels like! Beware… I should of known better .it wasn’t very clean.

It was ok. Bread was a little stale and flat. The people here are real cranky. I think it is time for the owners to training their staff to be more customer experience oriented. Good location– too bad the food is not that good and the place is a little run down.

Had the Turkey Jack sandwich and the bread was nice and fresh. Really nice location to where you can sit and see outside watching the cars go by. Definitely will be coming back. The price for the food is spot on. Recommend eating here.
