Dolled Up

Have been going here for almost a year. I’ve gotten a great haircut every time. Barbie does a wonderful job advising me on my hair. I’m really pleased I finally found this place after trying out a few other places in Fallbrook that I didn’t quite care for for various reasons. Barbie has a lovely personality and is intuitive about whether I want to gab or not. I was a little put off by the outdoor young and trendy purple décor probably because I’m a bit low key and older. But it’s very nice, friendly and cozy inside. Very highly recommend.

Dolled Up is the only place that people should get their hair done! The salon itself has an awesome vibe… not the typical, sterril hair salons that they have these days. You feel at home here. And Barbie is hands down the best hairstylist and colorist! She is very attentive, friendly and knows what she is doing! She always goes above and beyond for her clients. Once you go there, you will never get your hair done anywhere else… that’s a fact:)

I’ve been all over the place when it comes to getting my hair done, LA, OC, SD. Barbie is the only stylist I would ever use. My hair is really long and every stylist has always tried to convince me to cut it except her! She always cuts the most beautiful layers to make my long mane manageable. Not to mention she is a a certified color specialist! Every time I get my hair done all I get is compliments.
I took my two boys to her as well, she did a finger cut to both of their heads and they never looked so handsome. As you know getting a hair cut in Fallbrook so you don’t look like a marine is difficult, Barbie did amazing! We love you Barb!

First time in Annie’s chair today. First time in ANY salon chair for almost exactly 1 year. I usually trim my bangs and long hair myself and do my own color (to save money). So nice to have a professional take care of me. Annie knew just what would look good on me when it came to both the cut and the color. The color came out lovely and even though she had to cut a few inches off the bottom, I trusted her to take off the right amount and she did just that. Nothing too drastic in either regard, but enough to give me a fresh look that I am VERY happy with. Reasonable prices, too. Thanks, Annie!

Annie has done my hair several times and I think she might be the best I’ve been to. I am very, very picky when it comes to my hair, too. I don’t have an easy haircut, either. I am most impressed, however, with how she is with my teenage daughter. She cuts and highlights her hair and there is no other person my 16 year old will ever go to! She is as kind as they come and my daughter cannot wait to sit in her chair — she says she feels like she’s hanging out with an old friend!
The story of how we found Annie is how I know she is more than just a talented artist. She is a miracle worker with color. At the time, my daughter was 13 and went through a little phase where she wanted to experiment with her hair. Having been 13 myself before, I let her dye her hair dark brown. She is a natural blonde — like blonde, blonde. She changed her mind pretty quickly that blondes have more fun (not that I agree, as I am brunette!), and I consulted many salons and no one would touch her to attempt getting the store bought dye out of her hair. They said there was no way they could fix it and she would have to grow it out the old-​fashioned way or risk her hair being melted off! Well, she ended up in Annie’s chair, who suggested weaving in blonde a little at a time until she was back to her natural color. I was so afraid her hair would melt off or the color would not lift. Not at all!!! It took about 6 months, and she was blonde again. It didn’t break the bank, either. She is very, very reasonably priced and she does not sell you product!!! Yay! No pressure to buy product, just very good artistry and converstation.
We love Annie — she’s the best!

Every time Annie cuts my hair my wife thinks I look sexier. She’s pretty much the Spanish Fly of hair stylists.
