Car Stereo Install

Sold me some woofers, wired them wrong, they knew they were wired wrong and didn’t help correct the issue. Not even 3 weeks and one of the speakers stopped working. I went to see him and his son told me to contact another dealer in Temecula. Temecula shop told me to contact CTsounds. Fallbrook Car Stereo store owner is very rude and unprofessional and admitted to having a bad mouth at times, but it seems more often the occasionally because of all the bad reviews on here. The speakers are warrantied through CTsounds for a year and will honor that warranty if the shop does the paperwork regardless if he is authorized or not they said, but Fallbrook Car Stereo refuses to help me.

Just dont use this place. take your money elsewhere. Nice guys cheap product that is WAY over priced. Took a nissan in to get a new deck. Long story short. It starts sparking burns up. Took it to professionals they said it was the worst wiring job they have seen. 700 bucks later after the 900 I spent. Thanks for nothing guys.

I hate when people advertise by placing flyers on my window. Well I just so happened to need satellite radio repair on my system. They claimed to do repairs. Well they don’t and it wasted my time with their lazy approach to service.

Went in to install a keyless entry in my truck at the Stereo Shop Main Street Fallbrook. They said no problem «easy» install. I am the customer, they are the experts. Well after they installed the product, the keyless entry they installed was not compatible with the factory theft system and would not work. I requested they take it out and give me a refund, and I ‘ll just go to the dealer… There was much pushback that the installer tried to get it to work. I saw them on the internet trying to figure out how to bypass the factory theft and after several tries the installer could not get the product to work, I pushed for a refund. I said this was not my fault but your product/​install issue. After a LOT of pushback they finally would refund all but $ 25 «restocking fee». I said ok, just to get out of there and will file with the credit card company (which I did the money back).
As I drove away the Air Bag light was on, I called as I drove back and they said this was not them just something with the truck and not the install. Went to the dealer and had to pay $$$ to fix the wires they messed up under the dash that was shorting the air bag connection.
Prior to today, I had a similar experience with the factory radio LED go out the day they did the install of an IPOD jack in my other car. They will always blame it on the car. First time I let it slide, this second time shows that they are not skilled enough to do installations. The younger employees running the business always blame the car and not the installation or product. I gave them 3 chances and had the same poor results on the 2 previous installations from the younger installer. Both cost me extra money to fix something after the install… I’ve done business with them before and they were good and when the older gentleman was there (I guess the owner). When I asked where he went, they could only say he is out helping another store. I live in Fallbrook and try to patronize local businesses as much as possible. Sorry, this will not be one of them,

This is, by far, THE WORST car stereo place I have ever been to. BEWARE! They sell cheap made JUNK and call it «quality». I had to take my car back multiple times and the stereo/​amp/​speakers kept failing. I even took my car to my mechanic for routine maintenance, and a second opinion, (he is a licensed repair shop that I have been going to for 15+ yrs) and three of his techs said the wiring job was so bad that it was seriously in danger of causing a car fire! They had to rewire the whole thing and it cost me over $ 100 just for that.
Car Stereo & Installs (aka — Old Town Car Stereo) have caused me massive headaches. I have been forced to go somewhere else because these uneducated clowns don’t know what they are doing, and sell low quality (faulty) parts at a top price. They replaced one bad amp for another and then tried to blame it on me!
I am a reasonable person who commends good things when they happen, but this has been a terrible experience. If you are looking for a car stereo shop I suggest you look elsewhere.
