Came in to start looking for a new lease on an Audi! Brian was so helpful and even though he was busy he took time for us! Try sitting in their massage chairs if you have to wait because they are awesome! Thanks Brian!!!

The only reason this dealership got two stars instead of one is the service manager, John tries to fix or smooth over the problems of the service advisors. But the excused of «it’s hard to find good help» have gotten old! I have brought my car here twice for service and both times it has taken more than once to get the problems on my expensive 2013 piece of crap Volkswagen CC fixed. The same service advisor is at the desk each time with his bad attitude and care less demenor. If you want to get your car serviced here, plan on bringing it back multiple times before they get it right!

I had a great experience buying a car with Mike and working with Steve «the finance guy». They honored the internet price that I found and it was a great deal. I love my new Volkswagen!

Some salesman was extremely rude to us while we were browsing the Audis in the lot. I’ll happily take my business elsewhere, but I was absolutely disgusted at the attitude that we received and the lack in care in selling us a new vehicle (it seemed as if he’d just sold one earlier, so he couldn’t have cared less about selling another one that day).

Best experience I have EVER had buying a car. We purchased a used 2011 F150 here, and the experience was painless. When we arrived, we were able to look around the lot, and were greeted upon entering the building. They were very busy, but we were greeted quickly and informed it would be a little bit of a wait. After 5 minutes of waiting (and admiring the Audis in the showroom), Ryan came to help us. We took the truck for a test drive, and Ryan was very well informed and extremely helpful. We did not have the feeling that we were being forced to buy, which was nice. They offered us a great value on our trade in, and we left the same night with the vehicle.
I cannot say enough about how helpful and accommodating the entire staff was. The gentleman working on the finance side of our deal was incredible!
We have talked to Ryan several times on follow-​up calls, and he has been very helpful!

What an amazing purchasing experience. Nate weber is a great salesman and a better overall person ! He treated me with respect and from the get knew what I was trying to accomplish by trading in my 2006 F-​150. The truck and I had a beautiful exsistence together. She had 125k miles and was just an amazing vehicle. The dealership gave me the $ needed to get me to leave them the keys. Seriously considering a VW go see Nate and his team hands down the best dealership experience I’ve ever had and I’ve purchased 8 brand new vehicles prior to this. The pricing is fair they are up front and honest with everything and Tom the finance guy is awesome at getting the unthinkable done. I got everything I wanted and more. Thanks Mattie !! Keep up the good buisness ethics.

«Hometown» dealer… stay far away!
This review is to warn you of their reference to an older car «Meeting or exceeding» Volkswagens CPO standards. I will be honest — buying cars is not my strong point. I know very little about them and have no idea what to look for in a used car dealership. I feel that Mattie Imports took advantage of me and I hope this helps you!
In May 2011, I purchased a used 2004 VW Passat from Mattie. The sticker price was around $ 15K and change, which I thought was a lot for a used car approaching 8 years old but was convinced by the salesman that the car was in «like-​new» condition and was worth it. The salesman and his manager stressed that the car had passed every single point on the VW pre-​owned check list and, with only 45K thousand miles, was a bargain that would last for years. Now, you have to understand that the salesman and his manager told me that the car was ineligible for CPO status due to it’s age, but not to worry — it already exceeded the criteria for CPO and I’d have no trouble with the car.
Not really a great prediction.
Within 6 months, the brakes had to be replaced.
Within 8 months, the transmission needed repair.
At 12 months, the engine light came on. And then it got expensive.
The cooling system, or more specifically, the heater core, needed to be replaced ($ 2000+). It was filling the passenger compartment with poisonous gas from the cooling system.
The engine needed a major tune-​up ($ 1500+). The wiring harness, spark plugs, etc. needed to be replaced.
All in (so far) I’ve spent an additional $ 4800+ on a car that met VW’s pre-​owned standards.
I like Volkswagen and have owned 3 different models over the years, including a «True» CPO.
I really don’t think the salesman and his manager were telling me the truth about much of anything.
Have to mention too that the dealer called a week after the purchase asking for $ 100 for the state license registration fee. Upon checking my paperwork and receipts, I had paid the fee. The calls continued and the owner of the dealership himself called demanding payment. He told me that the car was not registered with the state and that I would be pulled over by the state police. I checked again, I had already paid it and the car was registered with the state. They were mistaken and they lied (threatening the State Police) and refused to admit it still demanding the $ 100.
I also have to mention the less than honest approach to financing used by the sales manager. In order to «qualify» for a lower interest rate, I had to purchase a «Roadside Assistance Plan». The plan, which was useless and covered nothing when I had the car towed from a busy interstate roadside in NY state), was just over $ 1000. The sales manager said that my credit was «less than perfect» and I could «buy into» a lower rate by purchasing the Roadside Assistance Plan. Be warned.
In fairness to this dealer, I moved to another state and haven’t contacted them for resolution. I feel that the dealer was less than honest with me a 15 months ago and probably would offer nothing to me now. I still own a home in the area and will not recommend Mattie Imports to any of my family or friends, but instead have warned them to avoid buying a car, especially a used car, from Mattie Imports.
Mattie Imports helps to perpetuate what and how the world thinks of used car dealerships — dishonest.

When I come to pay 100 to get a nut tightened, I don’t want to hear any bs about how im at the bottom of the list. Just say we’ll get to it as soon as we can, probably an hour or so… customer service (in service department) gets zero stars… I only give one because the cashier seems nice and smiles.

Sales process/​delivery experience was great. Mike took good care of me and was honest and stood by the internet description and price. Thanks!

Really unhappy customer and wish I gave my business to a different company
Just my experience so far… not saying it wasn’t a good deal or a nice car. Just expected more if I’m giving you business. I understand things happen, but make up for it, or at least try to, and communicate with people who are waiting to receive a car from you.

Went in to buy a Q5 and enjoyed my sales person Tim. He is an outstanding asset to Mattie. He walked me through the options on the Q5 and was very knowledgable. The buying process was easy and Tom in the finance department made it even easier. Overall a great experience and I usually hate car dealerships!
Riiiiiight. That’s just how awesome this dealership is. They post fake reviews for themselves.
Oh, and by the way, Tim? We bought a nogaro blue S4 today that doesn’t have rust or broken wiper blades and the brake light didn’t come on when we test drove it. So I’ll gladly wave to the poor soul that bought that car from you.

The service dept cooked my engine in my car… now they won’t stand behind their work…

They advertise one price online but in reality the price of the car is actually a lot higher. For us, there was a sentence in the details of the car (i.e. features, etc.) that said the car cost an additional $ 2,000. We worked with Al Mello (who was good) but its the general manager, Brian Farrington, who ruins the dealership. I will NEVER go back to Mattie Imports.
