Fall River RMV

Best time to arrive is about 1.5 hours after opening. By then the line has died down. The new location off N Main Street is nice and has a lot more waiting area (which makes it seem you’re in for a long wait).
There wouldn’t be a long wait if people took the time to get all their documents ready before coming. Also there is so much you can do online now.
It only took 25 minutes for license transfer. Nice.

Finding this place was extremely hard! However, when I got there, I was assisted at the time of my appointment. My road test started not too long after. The inspector was amazing! He understood that I was nervous and was kind. If you are taking a road test here, know the area.

Is there such thing as a good DMV experience? Arrived 10 minutes before opening and there were already 50 people in line.
Luckily I did my research online ahead of time and came with forms already filled out and printed. Was out of there within and hour, which was less than expected based on the initial line.
Signage was poor outside. Vibe inside from employees and other patrons terrified of being there all day was less than pleasant. Though totally normal given past DMV experiences.
The RMV experience was better before so many of them closed.
Tips on surviving Fall River: do you research ahead of time on the RMV website — many transactions can be performed entirely online for paperwork and payment. Fill out and print out forms ahead of time. If you’re coming first thing in the morning, consider arriving 20+ minutes before opening.
