It was food… The place is disgusting. Don’t dare look around/under the soda machine. You’ll lose your appetite. But it explains the smell of this place. Had to go to the bathroom… Wish it could of waited… Yuck

I saw this place on Friday and noticed how busy it looked. My Sister and I decided to try it today and I’m so glad we did. I’m real picky about my Mexican food and this place was all I was hoping for. The food was very authentic and super good. Good assortment of salsa’s and food was fast and cheap. Eva was just a joy to be around. Although you ordered at the counter and they brought out your food. Eva went to each table to ask if every thing was good. She is a great asset to this restaurant. Love it. I highly recommend this place.

Little hole in the wall pace next to cheveron. Best spicy pork tacos. Love their fried ice cream! Staff seems nice. Meals are good prices and of course huge! Not a big fan of their breakfast burritos. But thats the only thing ive had there tht i don’t LOVE!

The steak tacos were bland and greasy and the cilantro didn’t taste fresh. The staff was nice.

I have never written a bad review before but I was super disappointed. I wish I had ordered a burrito as other reviewers said it was good. The sauces were really good as well as the chips and salsa but our main dishes not so much. Shrimp tostadas are heap of salad shrimp soaked in lime juice piled on a cold shell. The only good part being the slice of fresh avocado on each. The steak for the tacos we ordered tasted like boiled chewy beef chunks. :(service was good and the bathrooms smelled like pinesol which is always a good sign.

Have gone into here twice and its REALLY close to home. The first time, it was good, and a good value. The second visit, I bought Tacos to go. When I got home, I thought it must be a joke. The tacos are extremely small… ok, no problem; I can live with that. HOWEVER, there was virtually nothing put in them! One was fish, the other shrimp. There were like a few crumbs of fish batter/breading on one, and the other had maybe a shrimp tail and a few other dribbles of something. Very very disappointing. Today was my third visit. The cashier, Alondra, is excellent, friendly, and cares about the success of the restaurant. The tacos are very small, but today I at least had some substance in them. They tasted great, the fish taco much better than the shrimp taco… At least on this visit. The next time perhaps I’ll order a different menu item. I feel the tacos could be much better. They have nothing on them except a few small diced onions, and a few specks of green, probably cilantro, not sure. It was decent, and I’ll be back. The prices, and the closeness to home make it a sensible regular stop.

This restaurant is disgusting. The food was bad. The service was bad. There was nothing even remotely good about this place. Do yourself a favor and never step foot in this restaurant.

Excellent, enormous and inexpensive tamales(and lot’s more) at the Lloyd Farmers Market on Tuesdays. They folks who work this stand are all so friendly, and your food is ready before you’ve even had a chance to step away from the stand and explore the rest of the market. Anything in the mole is good and the spicy pumpkin seed salsa is crazy delicious.

I am addicted to their pork carnitas tacos. Also try the small salad with pork carnitas and homemade fresh guacamole on top. It is a hole in the wall next to Chevron gas station.

We haven’t really had anything here but the carne asada burrito, but that’s what we order every time we go to a taqueria, and they’ve got a solid version of it here. We don’t live in the area, but stop here whenever we are passing through, which is pretty often. PS they aren’t really closed on Saturday like Unilocal says. 9am-10pm every day.

Just your decent down to earth taqueria joint here out in East Co. It shares its space with a gas station right on 223rd off of Halsey. Had me some camarones tacos which were made with homemade tortillas, sprinkled with onion and cilantro with shrimp. Authentic style. Also got a side of quacamole which was delicious. Their homemade salsa is also wonderful, full of flavors! Hubby had 3 tacos as well and a drink. I had a cerveza with lime of course. Folks working there were friendly and accomodating. We were the only white people there each time so you know it’s good. 14.00 total! What’s not to like?
