Lou Fusz Fiat of Metro East

As much as I love Fiats, I could not be impressed with this dealership. I am looking into a new car once I pay off my Civic and after I test drove a Fiat, I figured it was a done deal — now I’m not so sure. The employee I was working with was both awkward and not at all accommodating to my needs. He was very insistent on pressuring me to go through with the purchase process at that time, despite the several instances I had told him I was not interested at that specific moment in time. I realize car salesmen are normally this way, but that does not make it okay. I left the dealership feeling frustrated and annoyed. Perhaps I should just stick with Honda.

When I ordered my Fiat, I was told the spare tire costs $ 100. When my car arrived, the price had increased to $ 350. When I complained I was told I either pay the increase or don’t buy the car. That’s unfair, and I feel cheated out of $ 250.
I ordered my car end of Aug. Mid-​Sept. Fiat of Metro East called and let me know my car was finished, good. Then Sept. 30 I was told my car was at a rail yard in Texas. Then mid-​Oct. I call the Fiat of Metro East sales manager who says the reason my car was taking longer than expected is the factory was waiting on a part that recently arrived, and my car is still in Mexico, but it just got painted and will be shipped soon. I was lied to.
I appreciate Fiat of Metro East giving me a free loaner car. I also like that my sales person, Ken, was not the high-​pressure type asking leading tricky questions like, «want to buy the yellow or blue?»
