Definitely my least favorite of the local Jo Ann stores. The fabric cutting ladies seem to be extra catty at this location, one of whom was downright rude. Still, their selection and store sizes were on-​par with other JAFCs in the area, so they still get three stars in my book. I’ll continue going to the one in St Charles when I can.

This is my first time going to a Jo-​Ann store since I usually frequent the other arts and crafts franchise stores. I’m starting a new craft and found that although the other stores sell a lot of things they were very much lacking in materials for sewing, embroidery, needle point and cross stitching. I am so glad that I was able to find everything that I needed at Jo-​Ann and noticed that they have a wide selection for the above mentioned crafts. They don’t have as many arts and crafts materials or knick knacks like the other stores because they mainly focus on selling fabrics etc. The other great thing is they run coupons that you can access through your phone to show to the cashier and voila, a discount anywhere from 40−65%. There is definitely a labeling issue so it’s hard to know how much some items are and whether they’re actually on sale or not but the good thing is that the staff are friendly so they are there to help.

I do like the selection here, it is different than michaels. They tend to run the same coupons weekly.
I am a huge fan of the home décor and prices.
I am a huge believer of not coming back except for the reason above because a ton of there stuff is not marked right, especially sale items not being marked. Things seem harder to find than michaels, for example: Easter scrap booking at Easter time.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Just not a fan of how things are marked and hard to find.
