Where to begin… They have fast and convenient«medical» care! That is where the positive review ends. I spent multiple visits at Express Medical Care in what could have been done in one visit. On the initial visit, I had some labs drawn and was prescribed an antibiotic. Easy enough right? Well I go to pick up the antibiotic and it is the wrong dose(thankfully I am a medical provider myself and was able to catch this). I call, the provider denies this until I have him look up the proper dosing information… Ok, so about a week later and the medical assistant calls me with my lab results. Great! Except… the wrong labs were ordered. I return to the clinic to have new labs ordered only to be told, by the provider, I don’t need those labs based on my symptoms. I argue that this is incorrect and he says«I’m just giving you my medical opinion.» I pull out my handy iPhone, log on to Uptodate(a peer reviewed medical journal) to show him otherwise. He gives in and orders the appropriate labs for my diagnosis. So all-in-all, I got the wrong dose of medication and the wrong labs done. But hey, it was fast! Seriously, this place is a joke and so is the staff’s medical training. Nothing personal though — they were polite throughout the process.

I am using my girlfriend’s Unilocal account… DONOTEXPECTTOGOTOTHISFACILITYIFYOUEXPECTTOGETBETTER! I am a nurse who could not get into my primary healthcare provider’s office, so I came to this facility as an alternative to treat an upper respiratory bacterial infection. I have hypertension. It is standard practice to treat a patient with hypertension and who has a cold quickly because it could lead to further heart conditions. After my strep throat culture came back negative, the physician’s assistant refused to prescribe me an antibiotic. When I raised a question as to why not when it was obviously a bacterial infection symptomatically, his response was, «I very rarely prescribe antibiotics from this facility.» I told him that I am a nurse and that I am aware of what a bacterial infection consists of, and that a Z-Pack for bacterial infections does the trick because I usually get one once a year. When I reminded him that he himself prescribed me a Z-Pack last year for exactly the same condition, his response was, «I have completely reformed my prescribing tactics and will not prescribe antibiotics unless there is a positive strep culture.» I do not want anybody else to go to this facility with the expectation that they will be treated the same as they would at their own physician’s office. They do not advertise that they do not prescribe antibiotics, and do not tell you this until after you have payed your copay and have waited two hours. I left with a prescription for Aleve and Robitussin. If you need to go to a quick care facility, I recommend Walgreens.

Nothing express about this place. Been sitting here about an hour. Went in for just a TB test my wife asked a question«will the TB test effect breastfeeding» the dumb MA replied«no this goes under your skin» that was literally the dumbest answer I have ever heard in my life. The lack of training the MA receive is scary. KEVINTARTIS.

They did a great job of caring for me and even helped me find a primary care provider. Their staff is efficient, thorough, friendly and knowledgable. I’m glad they are right up the street if I need them.

I’m gonna start by saying I loathe going to the doctor. I think I’m worse than any other kid out there. I’m one tough cookie so if I have to go to the doctor I’m really sick. I’m also the impatient person in general, especially at the doctors office. This place I was in and out less than 45 minutes with a diagnosis and you have the option to use this insty-Meds machine so that you don’t even have to go to the pharmacy. You can leave with your Meds after the appointment. If I have to go back to an urgent care I’d definately go here!
