I brought my daughter’s very expensive purse here to have a buckle replaced. Having been raised in Fairport, I wanted to support a local small business. A week shy of 3 months later, I finally got it back. It appeared a hacksaw, or chainsaw, had been taken to the slot to fit a too large clasp in. It appeared drops of dye had splashed on both the front and back of the purse. Phone calls were not returned. Commitments were not met. The work was absolutely a disaster. I did not get yelled at as did another reviewer, but I certainly wish I had read her review before deciding to patronize this place. It is awful.

Decent repair work. I had some men’s shoes resoled. The work wasn’t done when promised, but only one day later. While I personally, may not go back, even though there are not many options around for this service, he does appear to have a steady amount of work which leads to the impression that at least some people like (or need) this service.
FYI — the have moved they are North Main Street now, kind of across from the donut place.
