The finest fried chicken and sides that you will find in Lower Alabama. Danny’s chicken is consistently fried to golden brown perfection. You may have to wait a few minutes as the chicken is served fresh from the fryer. Believe me, it is worth the wait! You have to try a piece of cake. The toughest decision of the day is whether to get the lemon, chocolate or traditional pound cake. You can’t go wrong any way you choose.

Very good. I had a breast and it was perfect. The okra was outstanding. Good value. I left off a star because my chicken was warm not hot, but I came at 2PM. Overall very good.

Hole in the wall fried chicken that will knock your socks off. Probably some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. So far, we only hit the drive thru and took it home to eat with some leftover sides from a party earlier in the week. I got both light and dark meat, and everything was cooked well: crispy, good breading and moist. The meat on the drumsticks fell off when I ate it, and the breast was still moist and flavorful! Worth your time and money!

Best fried chicken you can buy in town, or anywhere close by for that matter. I was gonna give them 4 stars for not having waffles but they get the 5th star for having amazing sides and for being close enough to Waffle House to facilitate calling in a waffle to go.

Don’t expect to find anything healthy on this menu. But if you are in the mood for some good fried chicken and other fried items then this is the place. We got a bunch of chicken fingers with sauce, fries, and fried okra. Fried okra was some of the best I’ve had. Fries were very tasty and seasoned just about right. The chicken fingers were very good. Some very small, some very large. Give a good variety and you know they must cook it just for you because little fried pieces are in the bottom like they dumped the batch into your box not like they counted out the designated number you were allotted to receive. I don’t think I can eat here much, had food remorse for a week. But it was very good!

Hands down, some of the best fried chicken I’ve ever had! Furthermore, it’s very reasonably priced. Atmosphere ain’t the French Laundry but that’s not why your here now is it?

Went here Sunday evening hoping to enjoy their buffet. Unfortunately, it wasn’t available, so we had a «regular» dinner of fried chicken(breast and wing), biscuit, cole slaw and potatoes(fries for my husband and mashed potatoes with gravy for me). The staff is friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Danny’s is a great place to go for a comfort food fix, but next time we want to have the buffet. We were disappointed that we couldn’t try their collards and mac and cheese, which are only on the buffet.

Southern fried chicken at it’s best! Buffet at lunch is a great deal. Traditional café atmosphere and furnishings; if you want good fried chicken, this is it!
