TJ’s is the best window tinting service in Fairfield. Awesome customer service! Always makes sure the customer is satisfied. Just had my second car done here. They have some awesome heat blocking tint that really works at keeping the car cool. Even the local dealerships bring their cars here!

The best place in Fairfield to get a tint for your car or truck. Two years ago they did my truck and today they did my 2015 Honda Accord. Very happy with their work. Highly recommend them.

Just got my 2004 Honda Civic finally tinted and I couldn’t be happier! Very professional and the tint looks perfect! I was very comfortable from start to finish; I didn’t feel lied to or like they were trying to get more money just honest business. In addition, TJ fixed my hand held car lock (don’t know what they’re called) free of charge because he noticed it wasn’t working. He also gave me glass cleaner for free to use to keep my windows cleaned. If I ever need a cars windows tinted again I’m going back to TJ’s. Thanks again!

I had ceramic tint done today and am absolutely blown away by how beautiful it looks!!! Customer service was incredible from start to finish. I called yesterday for an appointment hoping that he could squeeze me in to accommodate my busy schedule. The owner had me bring in my car the next morning and even stayed late to finish the job. He was very thorough in explaining my options and aftercare. I want to say we spent at least 30 min just discussing the different types of tints. He is honest, fair and his work is impeccable. I’m so glad to have tried this place out. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends – as a matter of fact, my mom is bringing in her car soon. Really looking forward to cooler seats this summer: D

Found TJ’s shop on Unilocal,saw all the great rating and decided to give them a call. TJ, answered the phone, I told him I wanted to tint all the windows on my Honda Civic 2012. He gave me a price over the phone, it was a good price so we booked an appointment. We got to the shop on the day of our appt, we were greeted by TJ, he explained the different types of tints and how they blocks the UV rays. I really appreciated all the information, it helped me make a better decision on which tint to get. I can honestly say I am very happy with the work and how professional TJ is, I have recommended him to a couple of friends that saw my car and want him to tint his windows as well. You can’t go wrong with TJ’s shop and his crew they are all nice and very professional. Thank you TJ!

Very happy with my tint, did take 5 hours so if you plan to get them done arrange for a ride. Lifetime warranty, friendly customer service. My family has done all their cars through them for years and quality hasnt changed :)

Very professional and paid attention to detail! They don’t try to sell what you don’t need. They listened to what I wanted, we talked it over and came to an agreement as far as the tint percentage and film type. I’m pleased with the work. Added bonus, they are very personable while not seeming fake and just trying to get money from you. I also noticed both times I went (2 separate days) they always had cars from the dealership to work on, which is a good sign because he dealership also has a reputation to live up to.
My friend didn’t like his prices (which is why I went the first time) so he had somebody else do it… job looks nowhere near as sharp as Tj’s.
Overall, 5+ starts. I would recommend to anybody!

This is my third time coming to this shop, and TJ is an awesome guy. I’m very particular on small details and perfection. Therefor, quality work on a lasting window tint is sometimes hard to come by, which is why I’ll stay a returning customer.
Today was different though. I was only in town for a few days, so I knew getting my car in might be difficult because they get busy (especially during the summer and this current heat wave). But they were able to squeeze me in toward the end of the day, accommodating me pushing my arrival time THREE times! No room, to 3:00, to 3:45, to 4:15! This deserved a review. Very nice and honest man. As well as his employees. I’d recommend this to any family or friend, especially for the quality of work done and price.
I will always come back here, as he’s already starting to remember me by face. Hahah

Decent application. Car was done nicely. My issue was when the tint on the front windshield (dot matrix) started bubbling. I brought it back and was told that’s the way it is. BS, because I had them do 2 cars and the other one wasn’t bubbling. If you aren’t going to have the dot matrix tinted over, these guys are great. If you are, bring it to someone that knows proper application. Nice guys, but not up to par with application techniques for dot matrix on newer vehicles.

I had my BMW’s windows tinted. When we showed up initially (just doing our homework), the workers were attentive to us and gave us a great price as first time buyers. When we showed back up (after being ignored by their competitors) to have the work done, TJ was awesome and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. We went with the premium tint. The tint works great and there is a noticeable difference in the temperature in my car (that has black leather seats mind you).
TJ also gave us a free pen (which is mentionable because it has a light!!!) and their own glass cleaner that has no ammonium both free!
I love zipping around town in my beautiful car now! Thanks TJ!

I found TJ’s on Unilocal,and after reading a cross section of reviews, I took my brand new 4 door GTI in for an estimate on a complete tint job.
I was after a tasteful adult job on my ride. I’ve had many vehicles tinted with varying results in terms of longevity and quality, so I know what to look out for.
I called, made an appointment for an estimate, and arrived on time — first kudo is immediate service and no waiting — Sharif stopped what he was doing immediately, shook my hand, and we started talking options.
Of course I went with the best materials. Sharif demo’ed the various grades of material with his heat lamp display — I already knew that I’d go for the best in the shop, but the demo further convinced me. He was also extremely forthcoming about how he didn’t want to do the tiny front windows as they were next to impossible to do right, and that he’d try to get the sunroof as well, but wouldn’t do it if it couldn’t be done right.
They’ve been in business for well over a decade, and that length of time combined with the up-​front honesty of «I really don’t want to do that wrong, so let’s skip it» was exactly what I was looking for.
We talked options, pricing and times — he was most accommodating while letting me know that his workload and attention to customer service and detail were top priority — I agreed that I’d bring my car back in for the work the following week.
As we’re talking, I’m watching the techs heat gun some tint on the outside of a window to set the countour of the glass BEFORE they got the tint on the window. This is the ONLY way to do tint the right way. Anyone can slap tint inside a window, only those folks who know what they’re doing take the time to do this.
I drop the car the following week, with a promise that it’ll be done at noon the following day. My car was kept indoors in the alarmed shop that night.
I went to pick it up the next day, and DAMN. This is a new car. I went with the same tint percentage all the way around — remember, adult and classy look. Sharif was unconvinced, I think, when I told him that I wanted to keep it the same all the way around on the initial visit, but agreed when it was finished that it looked fantastic. He parked it outside and other folks visiting looked at it and decided to change their percentages to match. I must be doing something right — Sharif and his crew sure are!
He also took the time to show me the imperfections in the factory glass — every car has ‘em, even brand new ones. I’ve seen it before so that wasn’t a problem. The uninitiated might think they were bubbles — they’re not.
Speaking of bubbles, there wasn’t a SINGLE ONE on 8 seperate piece of glass. He couldn’t get the sunroof, disclosed immediately that he tried, and knocked off the ask on that glass before he sent me on my way with a warning to leave my windows up for 5 days, not to touch the inside of the windows for the same time, a free can of ammonia-​free glass cleaner and a pen/​light for the glovebox.
Five days later, I rolled down the windows to have a look at the tint and how well the cut they made to fit the tint to the glass fit — and every single window is perfect. This looks like factory tinted glass, not an aftermarket job.
If I could give these guys 6 stars I would. They’re on the pricey side for the best materials, but worth every single penny, and I appreciate giving my $$$ to a locally owned and operated family business.

TJ’s custom tints did all my windows in my Mercedes Benz and they did a great job anyone that needs quality work and great customer service needs to go to TJ’s…believe me, these guys are great!!!

So I got my two front windows tinted on my HHR and I must say they a fantastic job! Very detailed and precise with the tiny placement. Just know that for a couple of days you will have very small water bubbles in the tint but they will go away. So don’t panic lol. Trust me and let these guys do your tint because you won’t be sorry!

I can’t say enough good things about TJ and his crew.
First off, what you are coming here for, the tint. They carry top-​notch materials in different grades so you have options depending on your budget and comfort level. An important thing for me was to be able to legally tint the front windshield. I don’t like getting into the car and having my butt get burnt or my arms and upper body get all uncomfortable while driving in hot California days.
TJ was really patient when describing the different options and did not pressure sell me in any way. There was something he said about it being an investment (especially if you plan on keeping your car for a while) if you want take care of your health (UV damage) as well as the car so that did stand out to me. Long story short, the tint that I got looked great and more importantly, I felt much more comfortable driving during the warm summer days.
Now, this is the part that puts TJ’s over the top and deserving of 5+ stars. While the tint job looked professional, nobody is perfect. After the curing period was over, I noticed some minor bubbling as well as what appeared to be a small scratch on another one of the windows. I called TJ and he asked me to bring the car in so he could take a look.
After looking things over, he said that there was indeed some minor bubbles and they would redo the entire windshield. As for the minor scratch, they had to remove the tint for that window to determine whether it was on the tint or the window. It turned out that the scratch was on the window itself. He explained that it may have been on there from the dealership, from when I had car prior to tinting, or a rare possibility that it was them.
Here’s the thing, TJ is such an honest guy who believes in doing the right thing and giving his customers a good positive experience, he offered to replace the glass (out of his own pocket) and retint. He could have easily played the blame card and say «sorry, tough luck», but he manned up regardless.
I don’t know how many businesses you know that operate like that but it’s enough to win me over as a customer for life. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone.
