Mike did a good job with a simple fabric on a wing chair. So, I had him do my antique three cushion camelback sofa with an $ 80. a yard large pattern fabric.
He said to order 19 yards of fabric to allow for pattern matching, said he had never had a complaint about his work in 30 years.
He had my furniture for 6 weeks because he slipped a new job ahead of me. He botched the sofa; it is an eyesore of mismatched pattern. In addition he returned to me 6 yards ($ 480 worth of unused fabric) I have no use for.
My sofa could have been spectacular if done by a competent upholstery shop, now it is a mess. Beware you could get burned too.
