Spencer Golf Academy is home to a Golf Digest Best Teacher in State Instructor and PGA of America recognized coaches. In coaching Professional golfers and amateurs of all skill levels. We have recognized the need for fitting the instruction to the student as opposed to fitting the student to the instruction. By evaluating the student in terms of their biomechanics and swing tendencies we work to improve and sharpen the players skill level.

The Spencer Academy doesn’t use a blanket type approach to its golf Coaching. We recognize the unique nature of each person’s swing and adjust our curriculum to fit accordingly. This approach has made us popular with both amateurs and professionals. Our students love the personalized attention and programs created just for them.

Doug S.

Business Owner

Doug Spencer has become one of the world’s most respected golf instructors, coaching players of all ages and abilities. His students have had success at every level from beginner to the Championship winning Professional. Doug has traveled the world teaching golf his travels include South Korea, Japan, Thailand, China, New Zealand, Australia and Hawaii. Before his travel Doug was raised in Parkersburg, WV a small town located on the Ohio River about 3 hours east of Cincinnati. Doug has been nominated by his peers as one of Golf Digest’s «Top 40» Teachers under 40.

Before arriving in Cincinnati Doug was the Director of Instruction for «Top 100» Instructor Brian Mogg. Doug was located at his Seoul, South Korea Academy and Hawaii Academy located on the island of Oahu.

The Spencer Golf Academy has a core belief that we are creating a partnership with our students. By listening to our players and their needs we can work together to reach a common goal of helping them improve.
