Solano Window Fashions is the best!!! We want to install Shutters for our house and went through other vendors but not satisfied. Later we got know about Solano Window Fashions, Mi Sun came to our house to work with us. She led us through the process of selecting and pricing with great support which we did not see it on other vendors. The windows installation happened as planned and installation team was talented and experienced, and thoughtful while working in our home. We had a great experience working with Mi Sun and Solano Window Fashions.
We are happy customers and would recommended anyone for their shutter installation.

I shouldn’t even rate this company. There customer service is beyond horrible, they don’t stand behind there product, and they change customer service people every month. Horrible, horrible company! !!! I totally regret taking the recommendation that they were good. What comes around goes around, they would not even fix a problem that they were not clear on.

Had shutters installed in my home by this company. They are very professional and came out right away to give an estimate. MeSoon gave me a time frame and met the deadline. The installers were early for the install and very professional. This is a great company to do business with and I highly recommend using them.

We choose Solano Window Fashions based on reviews… Wow, we must have got the bottom of the barrel.
First… We called to have the owner come out and measure and give us quotes. She missed our appointment, twice. When she did finally make the third appointment I would agree with all other reviews, she is a very nice person.
I placed our order at the end of August and paid the deposit. I was told the window blinds and such would be custom made and ready for instal in three weeks. Three weeks came and I had heard nothing so I called and spoke to Tammy and she said they were not done yet. I called about a week later and yes they were done and we could now get them installed.
The guys that installed were very nice and professional. They even put on shoe covers before coming into my house. The owner came over while they were there and collected the rest of the payment. This was my mistake to pay before they were finished.
The blinds all have little wooden pieces to hold the strings together– mine were all chipped– after I called the company several times they finally sent me new ones. We also got blackout blinds for my daughters room. The blinds were not installed well and fell once. Thankfully the installer came back to fix. We also noticed, and I asked the installer while he was here about the arch cover. It was all scrunched up and wrinkled and had no sunburst cover for the center. He said he would bring it back. At this point we are several weeks past our original instal. I had to keep calling the company to ask about the piece and finally in November they came out and installed the sunburst but the window arch was still crumpled. Also the sunburst they installed was a different color than the blinds I ordered. I told Robert I was not happy with it right then and there. He said he would see about getting the right color. Well, weeks passed again and no call… Again… So I called the company and they said Robert would come out and look at it. He did and took a few pictures and said they would call me back. Nope… So now, December, we finally got a call. They are going to re measure the window and reorder the arch cover. Yea! Oh yeah, that would mean they would have to come to the appointment. The appointment was between 3−5… No show… But at 6:25 he shows up! Now to hang on to the last string of hope that we will get a call that a new arch has arrived and we may even be blessed with them installing it… Before next year? Doubtful.

We bough all our window blinds and shutters from them and they are great products at a reasonable price. MiSun, the owner, is great to work with. She will work with you on a payment plan if necessary. Their installation people are very professional. We are very satisfied with their service and products. We highly recommend this company for your home windows needs.

This company came highly recommended from a local realtor and I’m thrilled I took her advice. Mi Sun was the person who came to the house (she’s done several in the neighborhood, so was familiar with the layouts, finishes, etc) and she spent time asking us what we wanted and then gave us lots of options. She was well-​prepared with big books of samples so we could see colors and styles before we ordered.
She took careful measurements, had Tammy check in with us at the midpoint, and right on time, delivered the Duettes to us. Her installation crew was awesome — friendly and very professional young men who were also quite conscientious during the install so as not to damage anything in the house.
The last of the items just arrived and all our windows our covered with great products that turned out to be the perfect color — thanks to MiSun! I would definitely use this company in the future for window-​covering needs.

Way overdue review, but I must. Solano Window Fashions was a referral. Prior to that, my husband and I had researched several places and found that Solano had the best prices, very accommodating to our schedules (they are available on weekends) and MiSun (owner) was such a wonderful person to work with. You can tell that she’s been doing this for a long time and takes pride in her work and quality. She does the walk through personally and the measurements. I was indecisive and she was so patient with me and even gave great suggestions, not like the other companies I contacted before who were very limited in style and expensive! After the work was done, she even came over to make sure we were happy with the work.
We ended up choosing the Hunter Douglas Shutters and we are sooo happy with them, even after almost a year of having them. It also helped with the insulation during the cold winter.
Solano Window Fashion serviced us all the way in Oakland and has several clients in the east bay. I think they even go as far as SF.

I recently just moved into my new house and had Solano Window Fashions do all 24 windows in my house. The person that I dealt with was named MiSun. Before we scheduled a walkthrough, she assessed what I would want installed in my house. During the walkthrough she measured all of the windows in the house and gave me a few different coverings to choose from. She was very informative and helpful.
After we made our decision, we scheduled a day for the installation. They arrived on time and installed the blinds in a little over an hour! The installers were courteous and respectful of our new home. They were very clean and very organized. My sister was in the house during the installation and was so impressed that she plans to use them to install window coverings in her new home.

In last three years we have had Mi Sun design and install all window coverings of our two homes totaling more than sixty-​two windows and doors. She has exceeded our expectations in every way– quality, service, cost and follow up. Several of our neighbors in this new development of 65 homes in Napa, CA have echoed the same feelings. She has been wonderful to work with, her staff at the office is prompt, courteous and always available, and the installers– particularly Robert very punctual, professional, competent and clean. They are very efficient, and thus saved us tons of time. MiSun is super, she carries all her samples and tools in a van and comes to your location (unlike home depot).
My husband and I didn’t have time other than weekends to take care of window covering, so we called her on a Sunday, and although it says they are closed, she returned our call in 10 mins and arrived at our place in 2 hours. She did all the measurements for us in like 10 mins. She’s also very knowledgeable about the product so can make good recommendations.
We were able to get our order in and she took care of EVERYTHING from there.

We had just replaced all the windows in our home and were looking for new window coverings. We had heard of Solano Window Fashions through a friend so we called them for a in house consultation. The consultant was on time and extremely helpful with determining how much we wanted to spend and finding a solution. There were plenty of products and styles to choose from. After some time we narrowed the style and fabric down to a few choices. It only took a few minutes for pricing to be calculated. This made it really easy to know exactly what the options would cost. We made our choice and placed a deposit.
A few weeks later and right on schedule we received a call to schedule an installation date. The installer was on time and extremely professional. In the house he wore covers on his work boots and cleaned up every piece of plastic leaving no mess. He checked each blind to make sure they worked properly and were level. He made quick work of the job and was out the door early. We later received a call from the consultant asking if she could stop by to see how everything turned out.
We are very pleased, not only with the end product, but with the entire process we experienced with Solano Window Fashions. We would gladly refer or use them again.
