Red Wing Shoe Store

Went in to get my husband a new pair of work boots today. Mark helped us and took time to measure everything and make suggestions. The first pair of boots my husband tried on fit perfectly and he liked them very much. This guy is a real asset to your company we will definitely go back!

Came to the store at 4:55 pm. The door was already locked. When I knocked a lady said «Hold on.». As I waited for several minutes a man unlocked the door to let a customer out and rudely said «We are closed.» I told him I would let the manager know about this and he said «Oh well.» This is not how a company should represent itself, especially when claiming to have such great customer service.

Amazing service. Mark was great, helped me get what I needed after I traveled out an hour to get here, and even found a better show for my needs at a store close to my home. Very appreciative!

Really devoted customer service; I had an unexpectedly awesome experience getting the steel toe boots I needed for work here. The salesperson patiently sized my feet and gave me a good overview of their work boot selection. My mom was with me and is the queen of coupons and was going through her phone for any discounts. The salesperson then proceeded to take my mom’s phone and managed to find a coupon for 20 $ off! I’ve never seen a salesperson so determined to help her customer save money. She took the extra step of printing me another receipt, and let me know that Red Wing Shoe offers:
— 1 year warranty; first 6 months allow free replacement if any defects are found, last 6 months allow 50% off purchase of replacement boot if any defects are found
— Free shoe laces, oiling of the shoes, and eyelet replacement for the life of the boot.
I think Red Wing Shoes just gained a new loyal customer!

Full disclosure: I have about 6 pairs of red wing work boots and I get a yearly voucher from work. And always purchase at the same redwing store in another area.
My wife tried to bring in 2 pairs of boots to be cleaned with our young daughter. Salesperson didn’t acknowledge her nor attempt to help her. She walked out fuming. Might have been just salesperson doesn’t like women or kids.
Guess I’ll need to find another store to use my work voucher! Avoid this store! Customer service means a lot, luckily work world is near by.

Okay, we went to get a pair of shoes. The sales guy said «I will return your money for ANY reason you dont like the shoes, I give you 30 days». Two weeks later I wanted to return the shoes, the sales guys gave us a BIG attitude for returning them. What the heck!!! Why he gets upset for doing what he promised? Never going back there again.

Great selection of work shoes. The guys there were pretty cool. They carry a wide selection of work boots from steel toes to 100% waterproof boots.
