Pronto is downtown Fairfield’s freshest alternative in dining and catering. Specializing in Chopped Salads, Wraps, Chopped Salad Pizzas, Traditional Pizzas, DELICIOUS Gourmet Pizzas, Soups and Chili. We do offer Gluten Free small pizzas (+$ 2) and wraps (+$ 1) as well as a delicious GF Breaded Chicken. We have 30+ Pronto designed (but made fresh to order!) menu items, but strongly encourage you to «Express Your Inner-​Chef» and design your own Copped Salad, Wrap or Pizza from our 5 different Lettuce selections (Romaine, Arugula, Baby Kale, Spinach or Spring Mix) and our 50+ Shades of Toppings. Chef Nelson has also perfected 12 homemade Salad Dressings for you to choose from, which are made fresh daily. Our Free Range Chicken, Certified Angus Steak, Grilled Shrimp, Smoked Applewood Bacon and Grilled Fresh Vegetables are prepared multiple times per day to assure the freshest flavors.

The best.
The owners are the greatest guys on the planet and greet everyone as soon as you walk in. The food is terrific. I had the Cobb Salad the other day and it was tasty and just the right size. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Such a great place for lunch/​dinner in downtown Fairfield. I went here for the first time yesterday and absolutely loved it.
Really great atmosphere and food to match. I got a Secret Asian wrap with chicken & myself and my friend shared the White veggie pizza. Both were really delish!
Love how they make everything in front of you. The place is really clean and the managers were more than helpful!

The owners at this place are the best I’ve met. Kind guys who care more about their customers than anything else. Delicious food, especially their Caesar salad pizza. Great quick place, although there isn’t much seating. Good for lunch, and they even offer a student discount after 5!

A wonderfully warm and welcoming family ran restaurant. Perfect whether you are in the mood to sit & eat with friends or if you are in a rush during your lunch break. The staff couldn’t be more knowledgeable of the menu and really help you through the whole ordering process. I never thought healthy food could be so addicting!

I was here last Sunday to get sandwiches for lunch to take with us to the beach. It was very busy filled with college kids and exhausted parents as it turns out it was also move-​in day. The owner was extremely friendly hanging around chatting up customers as they waited. He was also helping package up orders to-​go. I was happy with my Greek Salad wrap. I will say that the portion sizes for the actual salad appeared much larger than the sandwiches, so I’ll make sure to try it out next time!

Nothing is more memorable than warm customer service and a kind greeting. After a day of lacrosse at Fairfield University my son and I went in search of gluten free pizza. Having never been to the area we used Unilocal to lead us. We were personally greeted by one of the owners who chatted with us while we waited for our food. He told us about the area, the community, the school, the lacrosse coaches and he sent us in a direction to visit the beach. After a great visit to the school, a FABULOUS gluten free wrap AND gluten free pizza, and a solid endorsement of the school and the community my son was ready to apply for college. Admissions should be giving this nice man a commission. Great food, great service and local cheer. LOVE IT!

This place is unbelievable in the service department. I was looking for a piece of bread with my salad (southwestern — always a delicious choice) and asked the young woman at the counter if they had any bread-​like choices. She responded negatively and the manager (who always seems to be there) immediately came over and asked me about it. We discussed it briefly, and I sat down to enjoy my salad. About 3 minutes later he stopped by with a small plate of delicious Italian bread. I am pretty sure he got it a few doors down the street. So he heard me, he engaged me, and he went out of his way to make me happy. I will be here more often!

Beyond dissatisfied! The service was slow to begin with. However, to compound the issue, I was slighted by having my ordered pushed back. I was forced to wait until what appeared to be more well known customers orderd were filled. These customers came in and ordered in the line after me. I can appreciate taking care of your regular customers but not at the expense of possible new customers. The managers filling the orders really blew this first impression!!!

Stopped in here on a whim for an early dinner. I had a make-​your-​own wrap with romaine, chicken, fontina, and mushrooms. The ingredients were fresh and clearly high quality. The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and helpful… and patient with my ordering (soooo many choices!) The pizza looked great too– I will definitely be returning to try that!

Well I just tried the pizza and liked the thin crust with cheese and toppings. It was soft and not burnt. It probably could have been cooked a little more but it was OK. I’ll have to try the wraps and the salads they looked pretty good. I can recommend it for its menu and it was pretty crowded;. The owner also made sure I was taken care of. That was nice.

A totally out-​of-​the-​box idea! A concept that puts the ordering power and knowledge into the hands of new and experienced diners alike. A step by step ordering system that allows the diner to pick and choose each and every component. Oh & BTW The Chopped Salad Pizza is incredible — a must try.
The well constructed menu is easy to follow. It’s quick. It’s fresh. It’s healthy. It allows customized order constructions from mild to medium to hot. It offers many vegan/​vegetarian options. It offers gluten-​free options as well. In fact, it may be the answer to your prayers! :-)
The menu has some pre-​designed options which are great but nothing like actually having it your way!

Reasonably priced, clean, and a friendly staff make Pronto an excellent alternative to fast food in this area. I ordered an Arugula and Baby Kale salad with Grilled Chicken, Ivory Grain Quinoa, Avocado, and Walnuts topped with a Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing. I couldn’t have been happier with the choice. The manager greeted me with a smile and asked how my weekend was going which is always an added bonus. He then offered to let me try the New England Clam Chowder which I would definitely order again.
I highly recommend Pronto and can not stress more how much the little things matter when trying to find healthy alternative dining.

I recommend the «Original Chicken pizza» toppings: Arugula Pesto, Grilled Chicken, Caramelized Onions, Prosciutto, Pears and Mozzarella topped with a Balsamic Reduction Swirl.
Both my wife and I thought It was delicious. Lots of nice flavors blended together. The crust was thin and crispy. I loved the flavor of the pesto, grilled chicken, and the saltiness of the prosciutto. It all blended well together. A sophisticated delight.
The owner was friendly and recommend this chicken & veggie pizza. I will try the veggie next time.
You can eat there, but the place is small, so take out may be better for you.
They also have some interesting health-​ish bottle drinks which I like. Definitely recommend this place.

My fiancé works in Fairfield so we come here pretty often for a lunch date. Everytime we come the owner is always on the line, making sure the orders come out perfectly and is always super helpful. I get the Southwestern salad every time and it never disappoints! I am obsessed with the Chipotle ranch dressing. I had the Caesar salad pizza also which was great… crust did not taste of much (my only complaint). I think it is a great place for takeout or a quick lunch, not so much a sit down family restaurant. I think it would be helpful if they moved the ordering station towards the front of the restaurant, as it can become confusing for people just walking in for the first time. Great staff, I will continue going!

Excellent food & service! Been to Pronto twice within the last 3 weeks with friends. Had great experiences both times with pizza, salads & service! Had southwest and power salads and potato and veggie pizzas – all great! Will get a different dressing w power salad next time tho. Found the dressing that came with it a bit bland. Extremely fresh ingredients are a treat! Def worthwhile go to restaurant with super friendly & accommodating staff! Nice to chat with the owners too.
