Specialties

Our school is a play-based nursery school for children age 2 – 5.

PLAY is the center of our curriculum, as it is through play that young children learn to solve problems, develop skills, clarify concepts, and express ideas.

We focus on hands-on activities and experiences for children both in the classroom and outdoors.

Components of our academic program include:

* language communication/literacy skills

* science activities

* tactile and sensory experiences

* dramatic play opportunities

* art experiences

* singing and finger plays

* mathematical experiences/reasoning

* large and small motor skill-building activities

A particular strength and focus of our school program is science and science learning. Scientific concepts and principles are taught or introduced.
