Beautiful library. The Lane Libraries do a lot of programs, too, like books clubs. The people who work here are very patient with people who have special needs. You can also be helped to easily order books from other libraries if you don’t know how.

I’ve been coming here since I was knee-high to a grasshopper, and I hope my kids grow up coming here too! The folks here really love what they do, and it shows in a huge way. Their selection isn’t as vast as that of PLCH, but they make up for it with cleanliness and friendliness that are hard to find in Cincinnati’s system. I have never been to the Hamilton or Oxford branches of the Lane system, so I can’t really talk about them, but this particular location is wonderful. They participate in lots of community events, and host myriad events, classes, clubs, etc. to really get people involved. Keep up the good work!

I live less than five minutes away from the Cincinnati Public Library but will travel just to get here. I prefer Lane Public Library over the Cincinnati Public Library any day! It’s such a nice, clean and welcoming library. They have a pretty good selection of books, magazines, music and movies. Computers and printers are available for use. Printing is ten cents per page. If you have your own laptop or tablet they have WiFi available. Compared to other libraries this place may be smaller than some, but still a good size. If they don’t have what you’re looking for, they will find it and/or order from another branch. The staff members are always pleasant and willing to assist you in any way. I’m definitely a fan of this library!

I’m surprised that I’m the first one to review this library! I used to come here all the time when I was a child, and then again years later as an adult. As far as libraries go, it’s not the largest one in the city, but it has a great selection, and if a book is at a different branch you can have it sent over to you at this one. I’ve gone to the library for random stuff over the years, and this one has not let me down. The staff have always been incredibly pleasant and professional, and have helped me find some oddity at one time or another. When I needed to use the internet, there has always been open computers, and it is free to use it. They allow you 45 minutes and there were many times those 45 minutes were a life saver for me when I was job searching, or researching a project. If you need to print something off, it is only .10 per page. Much better than going to a copy store to do it. This may not be important, but the copies are on a quality paper and I have ran over there on numerous occasions in a pinch. The library is also in close conjunction to the Fairfield Arts Center and there are events put on at both all the time, especially in the summer. I have always been a fan of this library, and will frequent it for all my bookworm, movie and random music needs.
