Business Owner

A refugee from the Cambodian genocide, Kim was the lone survivor among her 7 siblings to escape with her life. Kim lived originally in Oklahoma before finally settling in Fairfield, California to open the town’s first and longest lasting donut shop. Without a formal education, no established family or finances, she learned everything along the way from business, to English, and even Spanish from her many Hispanic customers! She has kept her business going since 1987 with relentless work with rarely a missed day and the utmost kindness towards her customers. Every customer is greeted by a smile no matter her struggles and disadvantages or her sorrowful past. Her customers have voted her best donut shop in Solano County year after year since the inception of the award in 2007. She is thankful from the bottom of her heart for all of the love and the loyalty from her customers throughout all the years.

Hands down, the best donut place in all of Fairfield. As a Fairfield Native, I grew up on the donuts from Winchell’s across from Armijo. Ever since the winchell’s closed my family and I hopped around from different donut shops to get our fix, until we finally found Jelly Donut.
The employees are always friendly and sometimes give 50, or 60 cents off your dozen! While that’s not a huge discount, it is really nice of them. Even during the Sunday morning rush, the employees work quickly, and efficiently like a well oiled machine & hand over your pink box with a smile on their face.
Their chocolate cake donuts are my personal favorite, as well as any of their crullers.

Let’s start with the staff here is awesome, prices are low and the small to medium doughnuts are some of the best around. The problem I’ve been noticing is the larger doughnuts are way too fucking oily, i got a chocolate pinwheel the other day and noticed that just under the crispy bottom was a oil layer about eighth of an inch across bottom of whole
was discusting&today i got a cinnamon roll that had the same thing going on.

Great donuts. If you’re a big city kid, like myself, then you’ve probably found a lack of certain amenities in the area… Breath easy though my friends, there is a solid little bakery to get your donut fix.

Super friendly place with super good donuts. Their Maple Bar is too good, like the exact ratio of maple to dough.
I would recommend trying to go earlier in the day. They do make a lot of donuts, but the demand for them is high as well. Go early to have your choice of sweet treats!

Drove by this place a few times, finally went in with the kids and some family craving sweets. It was empty, I was worried… but they were very friendly. They had the whole family come up and greet us. They have a little baby boy who liked my youngest, very close in age.
Anyway, the donuts were very good and fresh and tasty. Everyone was happy. Lots of selections. Will have to try it again sometime soon.

I swing by from time to time when I want that good ol morning sugar rush. I’ve only tried like 2 other donut places in town and the thing that keeps me from wandering off is their cinnamon crumb cake and how their old fashions still have that fried crispiness on certain ends even after a day old.
Friendly people, quick service, and a free cup of coffee with a Unilocal check-​in (when I was coming in). Only complaint is the parking but people are usually in and out.

«Bagel Egg Ham and Cream cheese» and your world will change. I actually accidentally order it because the lady owner advise me to try when i went there the first time. They always ask if u want jalapeño but i never added it.

This place is awesome. I come here probably twice a month on Sunday’s I work in the city. We normally grab a dozen doughnuts. The people that work there are usually quite nice. Sometime there’s kind of a language barrier, but it’s never bothered me or made anything too hard. The doughnuts are really great and fresh. The place is kind of small and in one of the more rougher areas of Fairfield, but go in the morning and it’s a totally fine place to be. Overall, great doughnuts and great people! Highly recommend checking it out!

The BEST donuts in town! I live in Sacramento now but I’ll drive down just to get these delicious fluffy donuts. Great customer service and the owners are wonderful people.
Side note: Donuts are fluffier than KrispyKreme donuts and less greasy.
