Need somewhere to donate clothes, shoes and books. Come here. Drive to the right side of the building and knock on the door. They will ask how many bags you have and then print out a receipt to file for a tax deductible… WALA…and you are done. Too bad they don’t take baby stuff like a high chair, car seats, etc. I attached a pic of items they don’t accept. They also have a store to walk around. You may get lucky so it doesn’t hurt to look if you have time.

I enjoy hunting for buried treasure and this thrift store, like many thrift stores, can be hit or miss. I like how large it is and how diligent the staff is to keeping it neat and getting fresh products out. My local library has limited hours, so I buy books here and then donate them back once I’ve read them. There have been some favorites and some unique finds(uncorrected proofs, books signed by author, etc) I’ve hung onto. If I have the patience, I’ll go through the clothing racks — I’ve found pretty sundresses, soft unblemished cashmere sweaters, designer suits with tags still attached. Last year I found a gorgeous butter soft leather jacket that fit perfectly. If you don’t mind slightly used/gently worn items at a fraction of their original prices, check this place out.

watch for the window sales don’t know how often they happen but when they do you can get some wonderful items. we got an antique adirondacks pack basket at an incredible price. you can also find single service piece for pot luck suppers so reasonable that you don’t have to worry about taking them home at the end of the evening

Love this place. Super friendly staff. We donate a lot and we buy a lot. I have found many items with tags attached. Jcrew, Ann Taylor, lots of Chicos, Brooks Brothers just to name a few. For me personally it is always a pleasure and a surprise.

I like this goodwill best of all. Always find the best antiques in here. Clothing is organized. people that are complaining that it’s «smelly» lol have you ever actually been in a second hand shop? Of course it’s alittle musty… Most of them are.

This place is great. You can tell the employees have had a hard life so I’m not even going to mention«customer service». I scored a really nice pine dresser for $ 12 so who cares if the workers are a bit apathetic. Coffee table for $ 25, whole set of plates for $ 12, some really neat lamps for less than $ 7 and a really gorgeous shelf/coat hook for $ 3. Got a great camera bag for $ 4, and some really neat vases too. A little paint and maybe some new knobs for the dresser and I’ve got my anthropologie knock offs. Don’t get me wrong, there’s *a lot* of junk but the good stuff isn’t hard to spot. Things are organized fairly well. Also, if you’re into vinyl they have a ton of records for 99¢ each.

Not too bad, prices vary… with some items more expensive than at CVS or Walgreens. Spotted a gorgeous desk that would be a great deal if it was half off sticker price.

It’s Goodwill… a little smelly, a little disorganized, interesting clientele… you have to sift through lots of trash to find treasure. This location in particular is a bit annoying to get to– if you are going the wrong way on 46 you have to drive a half mile up the road, take a series of confusing on/off ramps and turns, then drive half a mile back, blah.

I like this Goodwill better than the one in Rockaway, mostly because the employees seem to be less surly. I don’t expect to walk into a Goodwill store and have roses dropped at my feet, but I also don’t expect to be ignored or grumbled at just because I ask a question or, God forbid, want to check out. Always seem to have a decent selection of ‘stuff’ here, but I can’t really speak to the clothes(I have a thing with buying previously used clothes… I KNOW there isn’t anything wrong with it, I just can’t seem to do it). Last time I was here I bought a pile of used books for about $ 5…can’t beat those prices.

This is one of the bigger Goodwills with a fabulous selection. Found stuff for a costume party here with not much of a problem. The staff was also very friendly, which is not always the case at thrift stores. The fitting rooms got a bit backed up on a Saturday afternoon, but otherwise, a great place all around.
