E & T Party Decoration

Great one stop shopping for wedding planning. Teri did the flowers for the bridal party, the church, and decorated the reception venue for our daughter’s recent wedding. She is very efficient and made everything beautiful. She is a bit pricey and wants her money upfront, but I feel that I did get what I paid for and more. I did not have to worry that things were not set up correctly and I was very pleased with the end result. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to create a beautiful event.

The very first time we saw Ms. Teri’s work was at my cousin’s wedding. When we asked about Teri we were only looking for chair covers, we didn’t realize what services she offered. My cousin told us hiring Teri was the best idea they had for their wedding since she did so much for them. Not only does she do chair covers, but she does flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, center pieces. etc) church decorating and any other decorating you would need for a wedding.
I notice that the previous review mentioned she was out of date, but she did recently update a lot of her décor and is willing to work with new ideas if you bring her pictures of what you like. We were one of the first weddings to use her new manzanita trees for centerpieces.
Teri is very knowledgeable and always has a lot of ideas. She is very proud of her work so she will do everything she can to make sure your wedding/​reception is perfect.
The price is very reasonable considering everything she does. We would hire Ms. Teri again in a minute and we have already recommended her and will continue to do so.

We hired Terri and her crew to decorate and do flowers for our wedding. I’m torn about how to rate this so I’ll just explain the good and the bad.
Let’s start with the good:
Terri has an excellent relationship with many of the venues in the Fairfield area, including the Delta Breeze Club, which if you’re not in the military, is difficult to plan a party at because you would have to get all your vendors base passes. She also has access to the base so makes it easy for her to come and go as she needs to in order to set up your event. She has her own chair covers and bows as well as additional decorations (e.g., columns, lights, sheer fabric for draping) and she also does flower arrangements. so you don’t just get a floral designer, you get an all around event decoration designer if you want this. The flowers were gorgeous at my event! The decorations were also beautiful and she took everything down afterwards (so very little for us to do after our big day, which was a major plus). Super convenient.
Now the bad:
The style for what’s available for decoration is a bit outdated, so if you want something modern, you’ll have to be creative and work with her around the options (I bought some extra stuff on my own to decorate with and she agreed to put it up for an extra fee). The money. Pricewise, she’s not too expensive, but also not too cheap. She required a TON of money up front which I can understand because in the land of weddings, everyone wants their money up front… but the problem was… after all was said and done it took FOREVER (like months) for us to get our refund back (once everything had been calculated and subtracted from the initial down payment). I feel like if you’re going to be that strict about getting your money up front and quickly, you could also give us back our refund in a timely manner. Also, there were times when she would make comments about other weddings she had done where the women were «bridezillas» and how this was difficult for her to work with. I understand that this is likely the case with many wedding vendors but I think it’s unprofessional to say it to someone that you’re trying to convince to hire you. Ultimately we picked her because of the convenience factor for our venue. She definitely delivered in terms of beautiful decorations and flowers, it was just all the other stuff that I could have done without.
