First time here for my son’s birthday. Good times. I suggest you don’t use Strawhat pizza. Placed order two days in advance. Still didn’t have my pizzas here. Brad our host, took good care of us and even threw in a free round of golf for the pizza issue. Great customer service!

This place sucks the employee’s are kids who don’t give a shit. Never spend your money here.

I don’t know how to rate this place. The front counter help was nice and helpful. But unless you can go right to your race it’s a giant dump. The 2 lane bowling was out of order as well as the majority of the arcade games. Guess which machine worked though? The cash machine so you can purchase game cards that ultimately will be useless. This place looks bravo and nobody cares. Nobody at the snack bar, bathrooms dark no lights. No tickets, no fun.
Run down and not much else but the racing, I’d pass.

Came here with my boyfriend because I really wanted to go go-​karting.
It’s conveniently located right across the mall so before we went go karting we hung out there for a bit.
The prices are actually pretty reasonable compared to other places. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And they’re open pretty late. I would definitely come back!

Great indoor track. If you’re an adult with little ones, you may want to take a peek in before bringing them to see if it’s their thing. The day we went, it was filled with ten year old boys. I can imagine, I’m a guy, if I was ten again, I would be here as much as possible. Anyway, I’m not ten and I have a seven year old daughter. She loved it, but their was a little bit of nail biting for me, having thrown her onto the track.

This place is run down… Half the arcade doesn’t work. Track is old and most walls are broken. In fact, a guy in our group got hurt. Wall broke apart, when he ran into it, a piece came off and cut his pants and scraped his leg pretty good.
Good luck trying to read your track times, the projector is unreadable and pointless. Bathrooms are dirty and out of paper towels. And most employees are either watching TV or on their phone.
Can’t buy food or drinks, nobody is behind the counter… I give this place 6 months before they get sued and/​or just close.

I’d advise against having your child’s party here. They did not have the trophies that were promised. Instead of the room we reserved, we were crammed into the smallest one next to the bathrooms. More than half the video games were broken. The «claw» machine was empty of prizes. The room where the golf was (it has black lights) was not staffed/​monitored at all, and unsupervised children were throwing golf balls across the room and swinging golf clubs at each other. Speaking of unsupervised kids, there was a large group of 8 – 10 year olds climbing up inside the skee-​ball machine and placing the balls in the holes. When they became bored, they started throwing the rock hard skee balls across the room. It was unbelievable. The place is WAY understaffed. The «prizes» that you can trade your game tickets in for are a joke. 600 tickets gets you a .20 cent sword from China Town. The bathroom is creepy and dark, not to mention filthy.
On the upside, the staff that was there tried really hard, and were friendly and responsive. It’s a management issue here, not the employees’ fault.

This place used to be really good but I’ve notice they have hired new employees and I don’t know if this place has new management now but this is the last time I’m coming to this location because there was a group of new people racing and every race they were in had to be stopped 5 – 6 times because of crashes. I did one race with that group of individuals and after that I pulled my name from the rest of the races. We asked them if they can do a kids race instead of the fuck sticks that were crashing and they told us NO. SOO BYE DRIVEN IN FAIRFIELD AND HERE WE COME ROHNERT!

Poor service. Carts are not comfortable to drive. I been a lot of places this was the worst place for racing

Seems like a great place for birthday parties because they had 2 going on when I was there.
This is the first time I have driven the electric karts. And I was slightly suprised and disappointed. They have great take off torque but not a great top speed compared to the gas engined karts.
The track was a little small and there was only one. I know that Go Kart Racer in west sac has two BIG tracks which they sometimes combine! But the track still had it’s challenges which was good.
Overall staff were cool and helpful. If I’m ever in the area with time to kill I’ll be coming back here.

My children had a great time! They went twice and wanted to go again. It seemed really fast the first time then the second time I counted and they only went about ½ the amount of laps I was told I was paying for and asked the front desk how it worked. They said because the fastest person had finished their laps the rest of the people had to come off the track. It changed my opinion of the business. I know nothing of car racing, but I know business and if I’m told to pay for 10 laps that’s what I expect.

Ok so I only post reviews if I really feel someone deserves one… and I must say this guy Dustin is pretty awesome!!! As soon as I walked in he immediately greeted me with a big smile and asked me how my day was. I think that was huge considering he’s probably been at work all day and needless to say their air con was not working. I myself would have been miserable (just saying). He continued to be helpful and explained all the packages clearly which also helped me to get the best bang for my buck! He deserves an A+++ will definitely return! I gave them 4 stars because the air was not working… had it been working I would’ve gave 5 stars!

This is my first time coming here for go karts and I am not disappointed at all! It far exceeded my expectations because of all the OK experiences at other tracks.
I decided to try out this track because of Groupon and since it was half off, I was like what the heck, might as well.
I came on Sunday of Labor Day weekend and the wait was OK, the guy at front told us that it would be a half an hour wait and he was right. At least they don’t pack as much people in as possible in a race to save time. Glad he was truthful about the wait time.
The guy briefed us a bit before the race and we had to put on helmets. When I started driving the go kart, I needed a bit of time to adjust and after the second or third lap, I was loving the acceleration and all the fast turns. It was so exhilarating that I can’t believe it was over so fast!
At the end of the race, you get a sheet with the results of all the laps and how you ranked against all the other racers which I thought was pretty neat.
The track and go karts are really safe, I saw a girl ram straight into the rails and she was unharmed.
I would love to go back to this track again and race. I had an amazing experience.

I’m a first timer here, but my brother and all the kids in the family frequent here regularly. Although a little pricey, they all seem to enjoy it very much. My brother compliments DUSTIN. He’s very accommodating, friendly, and gives excellent service! Thanks for always looking out Dustin.
The arcade is small and could use a little attention. This new system of recording your tickets automatically to the card isn’t very accurate. I suggest keeping a mental count. I think the card scanner could use an improvement as well.
Also, if they could give a discount to those that frequent that would be a bonus.
Service overall, awesome. The young men are friendly and fun. The young ladies working the front counter could be a tad but friendlier, but it works.
A great suggestion to bring older kids as long as you aren’t on a budget.

Very Fun! I loved how fast the carts go! But wayyy too much money for the amount of time given!

These karts will break the laws of physics. If you think you can push these to their
limits then your in for a big surprise. The kart handled every corner like it was on rails,
I never felt lost of tire grip, I never felt a lack in torque.
power. Just scary fast. You will never drive your daily car the same again.

I went expecting to have fun but got so much more than I expected. The track seemed small and the go-​carts seemed slow when I first walked in. I was surprised when the «kiddie race» ended and the adult race began.
This was my first experience with electric carts and the staff-​controlled governors. I was very impressed by the carts’ performance when unbridled by the staff.
I also wasn’t expecting the printouts after each race depicting in detail lap speeds and placement during the race. This made the event much more enjoyable and worth repeating soon. Cost was higher than I originally wanted to pay, but in retrospect had very good «bang for buck». I’ll save up some frivolous spending cash and return soon with my family.

With a short timeframe to plan and an assortment of restrictions from the groom-​to-​be, it’d be fair to say my fellow groomsmen and I were limited with our bachelor party ideas. Really, go-​karting was one of the only ones we had left considering: a half-​day activity somewhere between Sacramento and San Francisco with no paintballing, alcohol, or guns. Or strip club. Not that we would ever go to such a place…
Walking in, I was impressed with how much Driven had to offer given how small it looked from the outside. Besides the track, they have a black lit mini-​golf course (didn’t explore it), 15 – 20 arcade machines/​ticket games, a food counter (hot dogs, popcorn, etc.), a podium for awards/​pictures, and a «conference» room for group events.
As for the track itself, it’s small with a lot of tight corners. Passing is mostly limited to when slower drivers are forced to pull over, so maintaining quick lap times can be tough. The fact that some of the karts are significantly slower than others makes it even tougher. You figure they all can’t be fast, but a few of us who ranked among the fastest in the first race ranked among the slowest in the second (and vice versa).

Like the racing, the rest of the experience was «a-​ok». Booking a reservation for our party of 9 was a breeze (we chose the $ 40 per person option for two 15-​lap races) and we didn’t run into any of the problems others have mentioned about the staff (it was cool how they gave us score sheets of our laps). However, while most of the workers were great, a couple seemed less than enthusiastic to be there (to put it nicely).
Although I don’t think I’ll be making a point of coming back, Driven would probably be a pretty fun spot for kids. Plus, the groom-​to-​be had a good time, so it was a success regardless of anything else. If/​when you do come here though, bringing an extra shirt and/​or towel may not be the worst idea. Based on the sweat stains on their backs, I imagine a couple of guys in this other group wish they had…

We took our girls for the first time, they liked the place. very clean. and snacks bar was okey. Arcade need more update.

We hosted our holiday party here and had the facility reserved for 3 hours. Surprisingly the rates are fairly reasonable weekday rates for the Entire facility are about $ 750.00 per hour. The rental includes unlimited racing, miniature golf and video games.
The electric cart track isn’t huge but it was fun and fast. The employees keep track of your race times via computer and there are flag men posted along the track to help prevent accidents and improper driving.
The miniature golf is black light and while it isn’t Scandia, it was entertaining none the less. The arcade section consists of about 20 or so games and many machines have prize tickets that you can save up to redeem for prizes.
The snack bar serves: drinks, ice cream, candy, hot dogs and corn dogs. If you are having a party you can also use the Straw Hat Pizza in Fairfield and you will receive 30% off via an arrangement with Driven.
If you are thinking about another boring Chuck E Cheese Birthday or need a large venue for a work event that doesn’t charge on a per head basis, this is a good place to check out.
