Took my Yamaha R6 here for a full tune up about a month ago. Talked to Joe and he broke down everything he was going to do and quoted me 270 bucks, he was upfront and honest and I felt comfortable doing business with him. Was going to take a Über home to wait, but Joe said his son could drop me off and pick me up when my bike was ready without additional charge. Good customer service. Bike was is good shape when I picked it up a couple hrs later. Was able to take my bike on a rode trip to Fresno a few weeks later without any problems. Will plan to come back here in the future.

What can I say about my experience? I left feeling down after leaving Joe’s garage so I can’t blame them for false advertising. I initially came in for some cosmetic damages on my 2014 Kawasaki Ninja 650 and an issue with my chain after I dropped it and all the repairs were covered by my insurance company. The initial interaction was fine, and Joe even allowed me to decline some of the repairs so as to lower my portion of the payment (i.e. my $ 500 deductible became more like $ 80). However, once they got my business, my interactions were completely different. I didn’t receive any updates on the status of my bike unless I called, and it came to the point that it felt like I was bugging them when it came to finding out when I would get my bike back. It took about a month to get my bike back. Parts that were supposed to be overnighted were not, but I will give them the benefit of doubt that this was not their fault as my fellow reviewers have. For my frustration, he waived the remaining balance of $ 80 which would of been more than fine if the cowling didn’t look messed up. They blamed it on leaving it out in the sun too long and it possibly being warped, but this was actually due to some improperly secured sections which I would find out about later.
Nevertheless, I was happy to have my bike back for at least some of the remaining riding season. If this was the end of my negative experience, then I wouldn’t have a problem and I would’ve not even wrote this negative review. However, low and behold two months later I notice that oil is leaking from the generator cover that was replaced. I was only able to find this out when I noticed that all my shoes had oil stains on the left pair from touching the oil drenched shift pedal rubber. I suspected that it was related to the generator cover gasket that was recently replaced so I bring it back to get it done under the warranty. 3 weeks later I’m still waiting for my bike, apparently due to a delay in parts again. Furthermore, he was trying to say that it was for something completely different (the stator wire connection) which was covered under the manufacturer warranty. Nevertheless, I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. After waiting for over 3 weeks, I call again today since my calls weren’t being returned to enquire on the status of my bike. Joe proceeds to go off on me as if he is doing me a favor for fixing my bike, talking about he could have charged me. In the course of the conversation, he mentions that the generator cover gasket was to be replaced as well because of it being pinched. This was the first time ever even hearing about a pinched gasket, and I asked him when did this happen. He couldn’t answer; yet, it is clear that this was the main source of the leak following the previous repair. Nevertheless, he refuses to admit it and as I am trying to reason with him, he passes the phone off to his son; yet, I can still hear him and the background saying, «I don’t ever want him back at this shop again…» Then his son proceeds to tell me that they’ve pulled their mechanic off a bike and he’ll be working on my bike now and I can pick it up in an hour or so.
I show up at 5:30pm as scheduled but the bike isn’t ready. Basically, the mechanic was given only about 45 minutes to change the generator gasket and put my bike back together. When it’s time to take my bike, it is to no surprise that it was not put back together properly again. Pieces of it are missing screws and other fasteners, holes were stripped, tabs broken off, other parts are zip tied together. Basically, it didn’t look right. Not that it looked right after my initial service either, but it looked even worst. If it wasn’t for the willingness of the mechanic to stay after the son had already kicked us out the shop and rolled the doors down then I would of only gave them 1 star. Yet, for his sake I didn’t. He was a nice guy and he helped me take the cawling apart and put it back together again. He even provided extra zip ties to help me secure the parts that were missing fasteners. In all, I got my bike back but the quality of the work is far less than expected. I can’t blame the mechanic. He was the only one there. This shop is severely understaffed, and they need a lot of work in their customer service. At this point, I would never go back to that shop even if this bike is still leaking oil. I would rather go somewhere else and pay extra, then to have to deal with Joe again. I gave them a bunch of slack at first being that they’re a new shop as my fellow reviews have done, but the level of disrespect that has been shown towards me is just too much to not say something at this point. Joe, I hope you take this review to heart, and apply the following points:
Keep your customers up to date of their repairs.
Clearly communicating to them a realistic time frame for their repairs.
Speaking to them with respect.
Honestly, I really do hope that you succeed in your business; yet, change is needed

Not good at all. I would not recommend coming here. I had brought my bike here in August and asked for an adjustment to my clutch (it was slipping) and an oil change. A friend’s dad is now buying it from me so I took it in to have them check it out and just make sure it was all good to go as I had been getting an F1 light (meaning there was some sort of fuel issue). After a few days they called me with a few things wrong with the bike (nothing related to the error message tho). The first thing they told me was that I needed a new clutch and the second thing was that someone had over serviced my oil by a lot. When I mentioned that they were the ones that had adjusted my clutch and service my oil 10 months prior they said they would check their records. After another day, they called me (mind you, Joe never talked to me himself even though I asked for him, he was never in) and the guy told me they had no record of ever working on my bike and told me they weren’t gonna work on it, and that I could come pick it up as is if I payed $ 100 for the inspections they had done. When I went it to get it, I tried to pay with cash and the man working their said Joe said they wouldn’t take card but only cash from me. I eventually talked the guy into taking my card and was able to get my bike out of there. The whole thing was super shady and clearly they jacked up my bike. I then took it to a place in Suisun where the man tightened up my clutch handle in 3 seconds and it instantly worked great (no gear slippage at all). He’s fixing my oil problem as well. DONT GO TO JOE’S! No idea why they were so shady and dishonest with me but oh well.

Got into a accident a while back. When it came to getting back on the road this is the shop ! One stop shop. Wrote out the estaminet and was able to get the work done fast. Sat down with the guys at the shop and ordered everything I needed to get me up and running again. Thanks guys.

Hubby and I needed to get my Yamaha R-​1 diagnosed. Been searching the 707 area for a shop; some of which didn’t fit our needs, or the shop was no longer in business yet still listed.
We found this business on Unilocal and was referred by a few close friends to take it here. We called the shop and explained what we needed to the owner, Joe!
After telling him what was needed for the bike, our budget, we also advised him that we need it done ASAP. Joe is straight forward, no sugar coating and tells us what type of service he provides.
A few days later, we brought the R-​1 to Joe’s shop… meeting Joe for the first time was very pleasant experience and he knows his stuff! The shop assisted us with moving the bike from our truck to his garage. Joe even advised us that transports to and from the shop as a curiosity to her customers! A big plus! Joe invited us in to his office, where he offered beverages as he drew up our estimate paperwork.
The shop was able to determine the first issue, needs a new battery. Since the current one in the bike didn’t charge overnight. Gave the go to Joe order a new battery. Meanwhile, the shop was able to discover other what else needed to be replace. The shop manager Donnie called me and said he was on his way to deliver my bike. It was safely delivered to our doorstep… thank you Donnie!
This shop’s customer service is great, communication with their customers is on point, garage is clean and well organized! Would definitely come back. THANKS AGAIN JOE!

Let me preface this by saying this is a brand new shop. It just opened in August so it’s still just starting up.
I was quoted for new tires, brake fluid, and a battery and was told the parts should be in the next day. Everything came in except for the rear tire. The problem is that the rear tire did not arrive until 6 days later!
Besides the pretty big hiccup in their parts ordering the work was done fine, Joe was a nice guy, and they seemed upset that the part did not come in as they expected so I am willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that they did not expect it to take so long.
If you are looking for friendly service at the standard price this spot isn’t bad. Best wishes to them with the new garage.
