Down to earth, got the job done if you want a local mechanic… worked on 1998 318 BMW had a fuel leak got me out in less than a couple of hours. Also he came within the range of his estimate. I Would recommend

I take my car here anytime it needs repair. Orland (owner) is honest and quick. My car is old and life expectancy is not so long, he let’s me know if something is worth doing or not. He calls before he does anything to let me know prices and options and it’s always done within a reasonable time.

I took my car to Cordelia Automotive 2÷24÷15, spoke with Orlando and asked if he can install a customer purchase part, which most repair shops in Fairfield and as far as San Francisco will not do. He gave me a fair, acceptable price and let him do the work. He called me within 2hrs + telling me repair is complete. I’m very satisfied with Orlando’s work and have recommended his shop already to a neighbor. Keep in mind Orlando is a one man shop, if you see him on a phone call be patience he will help you.

I’m pretty handy at most repairs (even building my own engines from time to time), but I’ve been bringing my cars here for service I don’t have the tools or time to do myself since 2006. I can’t believe I haven’t written a review before.
Orlando is as honest as they come. He’ll tell you when he knows, and when he doesn’t. If he can do it, he’ll find a way. He’s also not afraid to tell you when something isn’t something he’s comfortable with.
He’s tracked down suspension problems, alignments, motor issues, a/​c problems and fuel pumps for me over the years. I trust him with regular maintenance and problems a like.
He’s prompt with communication and honest about parts.

Riding home with three kids in the car, my car blew up on 80. Scoping out nearby mechanics on Unilocal,I had my car towed to Cordelia Automotive. I found Orlando to be honest, straight-​forward, professional and efficient. Orlando took the time to go over possible issues and estimated costs. I cannot recommend him highly enough. While a rebuilt engine is not cheap, Orlando went out of his way to look for a possible cheaper solution, pushed the machine shop to expedite the turnaround to save me money on my car rental. I only wish I lived closer to bring my car to Orlando for tuneups!

Orlando is a fantastic mechanic. I take my car and both of my kid’s cars to him all the time. He provides good/​better/​best ways of repairing each vehicle based on it’s viability. On my kid’s cars he’s told me that needed repairs aren’t worth the cost so we Pick and Pulled them and got newer used cars. I trust Orlando and I wouldn’t hesitate to give him my highest recommendation. He’s honest, fair, skilled, and reliable.

A few years ago, I had difficulty changing the oil filter on my car so I told myself what the hell, I’ll just bring it to Cordelia Automotive and get my oil changed there from now on.
The mechanic here is very laid back, a man of few words but very straight forward.
I began providing him my own oil filters since I preferred OEM parts for my vehicle. I said to him it’s very hard to find a mechanic that I can trust to do the job right these days. I’m glad you’re here. I must have spoke too soon.
A year and a half goes by, and after having Cordelia Automotive do my oil changes (which must have been about 3 – 5) I decide to do my oil change on my own again.
As I attempt to remove the oil filter, it seems stuck. For some reason, I can’t seem to get it off. Then I realize something very suspicious. The oil filter is black. All the oil filters I have been bringing to Cordelia Automotive the entire time were blue. The same old oil filter that was stuck on my car, is still on! It was never replaced.
I head to the local auto parts store and get a special tool to remove the filter. With a little work and shimmying, I get it off. The oil that pours out is sludgy, dark and thick. It’s hard to tell if the oil was ever replaced the last 18,000 miles.
I purchased my vehicle brand new. In the last few years, my vehicle has had numerous head gasket issues. Overheating, leaking head gaskets, leaking cam seals, fuel cut valves on top of fuel tank cracked. All of which have been replaced by the dealership, but was not cheap.
I take good care of my vehicles and am very particular in keeping them serviced on time. I cannot attribute the engine failings to the neglect in oil service, but I am sure it provided added stress to the engine.
I don’t see myself coming back here for any type of service, even an oil change. It seems others have found success with this facility, but unfortunately for me, I was deceived.
I wonder what he did with all the filters I provided to him?

I got here at 11:15 am and the place was deserted. I wasn’t even sure if I was in the right place. I saw a little office area and I thought I’d check it out. There was a guy sitting inside talking on his cell phone who didn’t even acknowledge me. After five minutes of standing there without a single word being said to me, I left. So much for getting my oil change here :/

My family has taken our cars here for repairs since it first opened. Orlando is a fantastic mechanic and very honest and reasonable. Will always return for repairs and maintence.

i took my hoopty (yeah, i said hoopty) here when it needed some automotive attention. i got ahold of this place because A) it was close by… and 2) (yes 2, i went alpha and then numeric, deal with it…) i was recommended this place from a friend that i trust.
y’know, i’m tempted to tell you all of the quirky problems i’ve had with this car… but i suppose i’ll save that for a blog that i don’t write in… back to the review
i took it to this guy. he called me and told me what i had already suspected to be the problem. he gave me a price that i flinched at, not because it was unreasonable, but because i’m a cheapskate. after much discussion with my wife about putting that much money into a 16 year old car, we decided that since this wasn’t so much a repair as it was maintenance, it would be worth it. so i called up orlando, oh by the way that’s the guy’s name, orlando, and pulled the trigger on this thing. and THEN he called me back and warned me about MORE PROBLEMS that he found that COULD lead to MUCH BIGGER problems and thus translated into MORE MONEY. but bottom line, he was being honest about missing the problem earlier and was very apologetic about not noticing them earlier. i took the safer but more expensive route.
and since it was my first time he waved some fees and made it easier on my pocketbook. car runs fine. i’d go back.

My experience with mechanics hasn’t been all that great! I always feel like I’ve been burnt, or as if some how the mechanic got over on me.
This guy is great! He really takes his time to explain why and what your car needs and what he has to do to fix it. It is a bit far but hey if you want the service you pay and go to the service.
