Award winning Claremont Distillery is New Jersey’s largest craft distillery. The company’s ultra smooth potato vodka, Claremont, is the first and only distilled spirit produced in the state to be awarded a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition the most respected spirits competition in the world. Additionally, Claremont distills and unaged corn whisky, Jersey Devil Moonshine, that was recently awarded a silver medal at the Denver International Spirit Competition. The company also produces an all natural blueberry vodka and all natural apple pie and cinnamon flavored moonshines. Almost all of the ingredients used in Claremont’s products are sourced from the «Garden State.» The entire production process including mashing, fermenting, distilling, and bottling is done on premises. We pride ourselves on producing only the finest craft spirits. We are open daily (except Sunday) for tours and tastings. Come relax in our tasting room and enjoy some of our specialty cocktails.

History

Established in 2014.

Claremont Disitllery was founded in May 2014. After building out our facility and receiving our federal and state licenses we began production of Claremon Vodka and Jersey Devil Moonshine (Unaged Corn Whisky) in July 2015.

We founded the business under the premise that great spirits could be made from ingredients sourced in «The Garden State.»

Meet the Manager

Chris D.

Manager

Chris has spent his entire working life producing alcoholic beverages. He graduated from brewing school and went on to become the head brewmaster with Shawnee Brewing in Pennsylvania. Later he become head distiller at Van Brunt Still House in Brooklyn, New York focusing on the production of Bourbon and American Whisky.

Chris’s expertise in fermentaion is why Claremont’s products are so smooth and tasty. Chris prides himself on being a true artisan distiller and will not release anything but a superior product.
