History

Established in 1987.

Alonso Consulting’s first office consisted of a fold out table in a one-​bedroom apartment in Nutley, NJ. Even starting from those humble beginnings, the firm had huge success. The first client was Exxon, GE Capital and later Dun & Bradstreet and Medco followed this initial client. The income from these one person consulting engagements provided Alonso Consulting with a solid financial foundation and a breadth of experience that has propelled a lasting success.

Meet the Business Owner

Robert A.

Business Owner

Robert Alonso, founder of the firm, began programming in 1979. He worked for several leading computer magazines and had three computer programming books published in his early twenties. He later worked as a programmer analyst at Chase and in 1987 started Alonso Consulting. He acquired several Fortune 500 companies as his first clients. This led to growth and the expansion of the company into the progressive, high-​growth firm that it is today.
