Tristate Business Insurance

I REALLY wanted to write something wonderful about this company, especially given the other reviews. Unfortunately, I can’t, and in short, I would NOT recommend them if you’re an individual/​family seeking health insurance on your own.
I’m hoping that Randy just had an off month and that he’s back to his extra-​mile self, but this was my experience with him. First, he sent the wrong paperwork. Then he either didn’t address some of my questions/​concerns (so I had to seek out the answers myself) or did so in a not-​so-​helpful way. He also didn’t inform me that he received my paperwork until I emailed to ask him about it. This was upsetting, as there was very personal medical info on the paperwork along with identifying info like my SSN (and because I was concerned about getting it submitted to the insurance company in a decent amount of time). After that, I did receive some updates from Randy, but again, I had to initiate most of the contact to see what was going on (I was really concerned about a potential lapse in insurance coverage). In fact, I even ended up googling the insurance company and calling them myself to get an idea of what was going on (and I was told by them that they didn’t receive my paperwork until over 2 weeks after Randy received it). After over a month of waiting, I finally received an email from Randy that my health insurance was denied and that he was sorry he couldn’t tell me more, but he’d be more than happy to help me with auto and home insurance. I ended up having to call the health insurance company who denied me to figure out what to do next. Definitely not the caliber of customer service represented in former reviews.

I must concur with Avery. Randy and his colleagues are awesome. Randy went the extra mile for me over and over — AND was a pleasure to deal with — AND found me a great deal on insurance.
If you need insurance — THESE ARE THE GUYS TO SEE!

This place is a breath of fresh air! I wish more companies ran like this. Working hard for the customer, always professional and just an overall joy to work with. Truly.
I dealt w/​2 guys (randy and mike) from this company and they treated me like family. they were always available to answer my q’s and always took the time to make sure i truly understood everything that was going on throughout the whole process. although they provided me w/​individual health insurance, i know they also specialize in business insurance. it was just so refreshing to feel taken CARE of by an insurance agent/​broker. can’t recommend this place enough.
