The Window Man

5 stars easily. I highly recommend the Windowman! We live in a colonial era house with special needs. Window ordering and installation went smoothly. The installers were organized, polite and left NO mess. The windows look great and blend in very well.

We had The Window Man install new windows in our home. The salesman was very attentive to our needs and got the us the window that was what we were looking for. The installation team was very good, thoughtful of our personal things inside the house and covered. The outside they cleaned up all of there things, I could not find anything after they were done. Highly Recommended

I ordered 11 windows and 1 sliding glass door. I was told all were custom fit so they had to measure. After the measure and the windows and doors were ready the installers came. The windows turned out nice, including the vinyl wrap I had put on. The caulk job on the vinyl wrap could have been done better. Also some of the windows had scratches in the vinyl already. The biggest upset for me was the sliding glass door. It was about 1.5 inches shorter at the top than my previous sliding glass door. All the installer did was spray some insulating foam in the top gap (which he only filled half of the depth with) and screw it in. He did not apply any foam spray to the sides of the door where there was a ¼ inch gap on both sides. Only 2 screws were installed per side (except for the lock side, which had four), which makes me wonder how sturdy the installation is. I ended up removing the trim all the way around and finishing spray insulating the gaps myself. The door was very expensive and I was appalled that the door was 1) not custom fit as advertised and 2) not properly insulated when installed. It makes me wonder what gaps I have in my 11 windows, which I did not sit and watch the installers put in (as I did the door). Also I found two of the windows had vinyl wrap installed with «burn marks» or scarring on them, which made them not smooth. Pretty bad considering this all was new.
The staff at the store was very good otherwise.

Terrible customer service. A salesperson came to my home, took measurements, educated me, and advised me to go to his office and see what many good windows really look like in person. I drove to the showroom, reviewed windows, and settled on X windows and I was promised to receive Y quote in 48 hrs. At least a week later, I received a quote, and I then countered asking for another manufacture. Then I never heard back from the salesperson. I’m not going to rant about other issues that were red flags during my experience, but I think the main issue is that if you are small potatoes (14 windows or less), you might want to look elsewhere so that you are a valued customer — even if you go Marvin, Pella, or Anderson.
