Horrible! The absolute worst cafeteria I have ever ate at. Salad bar(if you want to call the few items on it a bar) looks like it has been out for days.

Being a former employee here, I was eating at Oaks Café all the time. The first time I ate there my expectations were lower then what they are now. The food there is pretty decent considering that it’s hospital food. Most of the time there were meals that were spot on and some of the time not so much, it kinda felt like there were numerous chefs in the back and one wasn’t very successful. The grill food is decent as well, they cook the food right in front of you and ask you how you want it and what you want in it. I give it a 3 out of 5 for overall operations when you put into consideration the times they open and the variety of good they carry for a hospital.

The soup was outstanding — very chunky — lots of large, tender chunks of chicken and succulent vegetables. The broth was delicious! I could have drank a gallon of that broth! The salad bar, as before, keeps the veggies ridiculously cold! I briefly toyed with the idea of getting dessert, but I was stuffed. So I passed…
