Palmercare Chiropractic

First, this review is for the acupuncturist who is associated with the chiropractic practice, I’ve not actually used the services of the chiropractors.
This post ins’t about the merits of either chiropractics or acupuncture.
I’ve never been to an acupuncturist so this was my first experience. I chose acupuncture as an alternative to waiting to see if a condition got better and if it didn’t then minor surgery. Melissa, the acupuncturist, was quite understanding of my condition and we had a very good discussion about my medical history and current overall well being.
As I mentioned, I’m quite new to this type of treatment so I ask questions often. Melissa does not seem to mind and is patient, however eastern medicine is so foreign to me that I often have to ask follow up questions to answers just to understand better.
Without being pushy, Melissa made suggestions for overall health instead of just focusing on the original ailment. Some may be suspicious and think she is/​was up-​selling, but the truth was that her suggestions did not involve selling me anything additional.
Following is NOT a Palmercare Chiropractic issue, but I wanted to mention it here. My health insurance is usually VERY responsive and by the time I leave an office, the front desk knows how much the co-​pay will be. That is not the case with acupuncture. My insurance did not even get to these claims – filed by Palmercare – until weeks later. What that means is that I paid for the first couple sessions out of pocket. Once insurance caught up then we negotiated the difference of the co-​pays and such. Just an FYI.

Love love love Palmercare chiropractic! Dr. Nic is truly amazing with his ability to heal and get his patients healthy! The staff is a world class team! Nothing like any other dr’s offices… the entire palmercare staff makes you feel like you are part of their family. I will keep referring my friends and family to any of the Palmercare offices.

I saw Dr Nic at the Plaza Road office. LOVE LOVE LOVE him! I loved the office. The staff was very professional. When I came in, they said «Oh, you must be Kendra» and proceeded to take me around for a tour of the office. They took me in a room, explained what would take place, took my paperwork, and the doctor came in. The doctor then explained what was going to happen, talked to me about the spine and what it does for the rest of the body, and told me that they would examine me. He stepped out, his assistant came in, did all the tests, and sent him back. We had a lengthy conversation and I did not feel rushed. Now, this is my first visit but I loved it. I even thought of a question when I got back to work, called them, and he answered it. I go back on Monday. I will see how that visit goes. At this next visit, we’re going to discuss a plan of action. I enjoyed my experience there thus far though.
