I was appalled to learn that I have no way to remove my profile from Yelp. I find this disturbing. In my opinion, it is highly unethical to force a business to have an open page on a site like this, then offer them the «benefit» of being able to advertise. I invite anyone interested in learning about me or my practice to visit my website, which I maintain myself. I’m a clinical social worker in private practice with 25 years of clinical experience which includes well over 10,000 psychotherapy sessions. I wish that Yelp cared more about accurately reflecting true levels of customer satisfaction more than they cared about sales revenue. And I wish there was a better way to rate Yelp other than venting on this page!
