Very bad service and the manger was so rude never will come here again and there ppl who works there they never even welcome you such a bad experience for me

I am only giving this place 2 stars because they have decent pricing and some of the nail technicians have done a great job on my gel manicures.
I unfortunately had one of the most painful pedicures I have ever had today. She continued to pick my cuticles even when my reflexes showed her that it hurt in which she would say «sorry» but she kept going and putting stuff on it so I didn’t realize that I was bleeding until after I left. At one point she must have realized I was bleeding and put some sort of liquid on my toe which made it sting horribly! It was not relaxing what so ever… I will not ever be going back.

I stopped here on Saturday because I was in the area doing some Christmas shopping… I should have paid more attention to the Unilocal reviews since they were screaming «Don’t go here»… but it was just a gel manicure, how bad could it be? Right? Unilocal –5’ish, Jodi — 0.
Instead of soaking off my previous gel polish by wrapping my fingers in cotton soaked acetone and foil — I was left to soak my fingers in a bowl of acetone. This method is old school. It dries out your fingers and cuticles immensely and it’s rarely done anymore. The tech proceeded to take her tool and scrape the polish off my nails, taking layers of my nail with it. I said something to her about hurting me and tearing my nails and her response was «You have on OPI gel, it’s too hard to get off»… uh, everyone uses OPI. I knew I should have left at the point.
My nails were cut entirely too short and filed so thin they are currently like paper. Even with the gel on, they are bending and tearing left and right because they were filed to the point of being see through.
My manicure was done Saturday, it’s Wednesday and there are terrible ridges on the sides of my nails, they are torn at the nail bed and look terrible. This was a total waste of $ 40.00 and I will never be back here.

This place is the worst. I went here out of pure desperation to have my eyebrows waxed & they messed them all up. Severely uneven, I went back the next day to have someone correct them & they refused. I explained that they needed to make the right eyebrow as thin as the left & they STILL refused. Save yourself the frustration & find a place that cares at least that’s what I did. I will NEVER go back here EVER again.

Nail Dungeon is more like it. I had an appointment and still had to wait nearly 30 minutes. I regularly get a ½ leg wax and a spa pedicure at other salons, but I was in the area and decided to just do it now while I had the time. Never have I had the pedi before the wax. I’m sure she did it this way to fit in the manicure she did after telling me to «wait 15 minutes to dry my toenails» for wax. They charge $ 5 more for French mani or pedi. Annoying, but most places charge a couple of dollars for it.
Repeatedly said spa pedicure and didn’t get one. Heels still scaly and there was no element of «spa» except the colored lights in the water. Thankfully she only charged me $ 20 for a regular pedi. Not even worth that.
Don’t go here for any reason. Save yourself. It’s too late for me.

$ 15 min for credit card purchases? The FTC allows up to $ 10, but that doesn’t mean that applies and the provision is only limited to credit cards not debit cards. We were paying with a debit card– there are no min restrictions allowed. Overall horrible service

Go to Carol! She is the manager and by far the best!!! She does a very clean and thorough job. I used to live right next to this place but after moving and trying other places I still make the drive to come here.

Went here in a pinch the other day and I should have checked the reviews before walking in the door. $ 27 for a pedicure that really is just a nail trim and paint=not worth the trip.

So I came here because it’s so close to where I live. But I will definitely be finding somewhere else to get my nails done. First off, the place is outdated and dirty. The lady who was doing my gel set was unsanitary, her fingernails were yellow and dirty and it looked like she didn’t clean her tools. After grinding my nails, she used a big poofy brush to dust off my nails… and then afterwards used the SAME BRUSH to CLEAN her table of my (and past?) fingernail clippings, dust, dirt, etc!!! This is the brush she uses on girls freshly grinded down nails (can you say bacteria infection??)
Don’t bother asking for any design beyond basic. These people’s jobs are doing nails, but they can’t even do half the stuff you ask for. I asked for Chevron pattern on my two ring finger nails and he (last before was a he) tried to paint it with the damn finger nail polish brush and it looked like a 5 year old’s art project. That is pretty basic. I asked the lady last time for gold tips that were pointy cuz my nails were almond shaped. It looked crappy. They were uneven. I also brought in a picture of blue nails with gradient glitter that goes from a lot at the top, getting more dispersed down the nail. She couldn’t do it, she just painted a straight line of glitter down my nail and im like umm it’s supposed to be gradient. It doesn’t help that also half the time when you ask for something they don’t understand, so it’s hard to explain what you want and even with a picture, they can’t do anything.
As a professional, you should take pride in what you do (they don’t seem to be interested in furthering their education or investing in tools that will help them learn to become better nail artists.) You should also care about the customer. This place fails.

I went back to get a mani/​pedi and had a terrible experience. The lady checking people in was my manicurist and she kept going to check in other customers during my service! She also did a terrible job and rushed through everything. She didn’t do a good job buffing the rough spots on my feet and she put 3 coats of polish on my nails because she said that the polish didn’t look good with less coats. Why didn’t she say something ahead of time and I could have picked out another color? The 3 coats just add my nails gooey, ugh. I will never be back.

The min. i walked in i should have walked out… this place smells HORRIBLE. I was only in there 20 min (yes. a regular pedi for $ 27 with NOTHING extra will take 20 min only because all they do it paint your toe nails). i knew they were expensive but im going on a trip and didnt have time to go anywhere else
I walked in for mani/​pedi and walked out w just pedi done … they started doing my nails and i told them i would come back because i didnt have time (complete lie by the way just wanted to be out ASAP as i was getting a headache from the smell) and they started questioning me «if i finish pedi fast u do mani?» i responded absolutely not, why should you cut my pedi short for me to use more of ur services?
the reg. pedi was the bare minimum. the water my feet were soaking in was cold and i just got a weird vibe from the whole pedi overall… i started reading reviews which is what got me to REALLY want to get out of there (on top of the smell & horrible customer service)
then another lady came. it was so awk and uncomfortable and i just wanted to get out
whatever you do… dont go there, they obviously have sanitary issues in there & way over priced…

I have been going here for over 11 years and have been nothing but pleased. In my opinion, this mani/​pedi is much better and lasts longer than those I get from places much closer to my home… I’d gladly make the drive to come here. Yes, I’ve seen the girls are playing cards in the back, but I think the place clean and service has been great. PS… best foot and hand massage EVER!!!

I was in the area and I just needed a pedicure so instead of going to ol’ faithful, I made a stop here. It deserves no more than 3 stars. The pedicurist did not do a good job on making the bottom of my feet smooth. There was no scraping only massaging. That might can work for other chicks, but I need some elbow grease and arm power to work on these feets. (Yes, I said feets). Nonetheless, the woman was very thorough with my nail polishing.

I’ve been going here for over 6 years now. I’d say a few are good manicurists but by far Terri is the best ever! I’d follow her anywhere!

I’m going to have to say no to this one.
The place is outdated and plain. Dirty walls, uncomfortable stools, etc.
As someone else stated, no tips on cards and minimum purchase on cards is $ 15.
Their selection of nail polish is slim and not up-​to-​date. I’m glad I brought my own.
All I got was a manicure and it was ok. But not good.
There is no customer service or pleasantries. I felt rushed and she did the bare minimum. Getting out the door into sunlight, I noticed all of my nail polish had dried with tiny bubbles.
Will I go back? No thank you.
Theres no zen, no tranquility, no calmness in this place.

OMG this place was filthy. The girls were sitting in the back playing cards they should of been cleaning. The girl that did my nails had dirty nails like had been planting something. I should of walked right out but didn’t the manicure was $ 14.00 and I couldn’t charge it they had a minimum of $ 15.00 what a stupid system. The county needs to do a Heath inspection.

This place is awful. I came here last week to get a shellac mani and a pedi. I spent $ 65 on bad service and rude nail technicians that gossip and talk to each other while they work on people’s nails. The nail tech that did my nails didn’t let the shellac gel dry completely so it turned out horrible looking with air bubbles and marks from where she touched it and didn’t fix it. Then as I was leaving, I wanted to pay on my card but she saw that I had two twenty dollar bills in my wallet so she literally pulled the $ 40 out of my wallet while I was trying to give her my card and asked if I could pay $ 40 in cash and $ 25 on my card. I tried to tell her that I wanted to pay all on my card so I can tip her in cash, but she feigned misunderstanding and ran the cash/​credit transaction. I left in a horrible mood and had no cash. Also a week later, and my cuticles are still having a weird reaction to the way she cut and «moisturized» them; they’ve never been this way with other salons.

Stop complaining what do you want a manicure or a friend they work really hard and the manicure and pedicures are average and or better

I went there yesterday with my daughter because I was in desperate need of getting a pedicure and manicure for my trip. I am not someone who goes regularly to nail salons, but I have gone to a couple in my time. The ladies were nice. In other salons, when I ask them to draw little cute designs on my daughter’s nails, they usually do all five. She only did one finger on each hand, which I didn’t like. When it came time to do my nails, there were times that I felt some pain. They close at 7:30 p.m., and I have never seen a place that doesn’t care if there are customers in there, they are bolting out of the door. I also thought that it took way too long to get a manicure and pedicure. I don’t think I will return. They seem a little lazy.

Happy with the service here. I get silk wraps and Karen does a great job making these look as natural and thin as I like. She listens to my comments and is always very pleasant, as are the other ladies there.
