Mojgan Shaafi, DDS

I have been going to Dr. Shaafi for the past two years. The longest I have ever waited in the waiting room was probably 10 minutes, if that? She is always pleasant, efficient, and very informative about what’s going on with my teeth and gums. I take really good care of my teeth and she tells me so. I even asked her about a scheduling a professional whitening treatment with her and she told me it really wasn’t necessary for my teeth, and she recommended and cheaper over the counter option! She could have sold me something I did not need, but she did not. Her entire staff is always warm and welcoming and makes going to the dentist an overall pleasant experience!

Dr. Shaafi is wonderful! She is thoughtful, kind, smart and efficient. The best thing about being her patient is that she only does the work that you actually need… no upselling or unnecessary work done. My former dentist made it sound as if my teeth were falling out of my head — — Dr. Shaafi has confirmed what I know — — my teeth are in great shape. I do know that if there is something wrong, I can trust her opinion and that she will do excellent work. I highly recommend her!

My family has been going to Dr Shaafi for almost 20 years. She was my kids first and only dentist. She is the best dentist I have ever had. Honest, gentle and very thoughtful. Her staff is wonderful and they are always happy to see us. Appointments are easy to get, she is always on time and she does a great job. She accepts most insurance. Highly recommend.

I recently had the misfortune of seeing Dr. Mojgan three weeks in a row. Much to my chagrin, upon going to my original dental check-​up, she found 4 cavities.
Now upon going to a few other dentists in the area, I was sick of people trying to upcharge my healthcare and insurance with unnecessary xrays and whitening. One dentist even wanted to put me back into braces at 25 (I laughed at the idea, but stopped laughing when I figured out he was serious). I did not have this experience with Dr. Mojgan.
There was absolutely no wait on any of the three visits. On one occasion, I came a half hour early, and they fit me in then.
I appreciated her discussing the pros and cons of both silver fillings and composite. She and her staff seem knowledgeable and I liked being able to see the digital xrays too. We will be using her again, but fingers crossed that there are no cavities next time!

I became a patient of Dr. Shaafi four months ago and I couldn’t be happier. A year ago another local dentist said I needed 4 crowns. I put it off, upped my insurance and then went looking for a second opinion. Dr. Shaafi solved my problems with two fillings and one crown. She is watching the other tooth, but thinks we can make a filling work for that one too. Dr. Shaafi saved me thousands of dollars and lots of unnecessary dental work.
