History

Established in 1990.

First Home Mortgage Corporation was founded in November 1990 by Chief Executive Officer, Dave Waters. The company began with two offices and a handful of employees dedicated to a common vision; to stay local and be independent. With an experienced support staff, leading producers and the fundamental base of established relationships in the local community, the company quickly grew to a financial institution of over 35 offices, serving 17 states. Over the past 25 years, the company has grown to 400 employees and has been voted one of Baltimore’s «Best Places to Work» 2006 – 2008 and in 2011 – 2012. As a Manager and Loan Officer at First Home Mortgage’s Fairfax Branch, Marc Aymard (NMLS #483 530) draws on 11 years of mortgage lending experience to make your loan process the best it can be. Marc has earned top service awards from PNC Bank, Bank of America and First Home Mortgage during his career. In 2013 and 2014, Mortgage Executive Magazine listed him in the top 1% of loan officers nationwide. He credits his success to creating an amazing experience for clients.

In 2011, Marc joined First Home Mortgage, a private lender in the Washington, D.C. area, because it gives him the flexibility to work closely with clients, manage the entire mortgage process, and respond quickly to questions, requirements and changes in the industry.
