Called to get lab results. Three times I was on hold for 5 minutes then someone picks up the line and disconnects me! The online results site doesn’t work either. What a crappy company.

I at this point wouldn’t even want to give 1 star, except for location. This office is overcrowded, dirty, smelly and the staff are rude, unorganized and poor communication seems to be the norm. I made appointment, completed the paperwork, advised staff when I arrived that I had appointment and was told to sign in and someone would be with me soon. That was an hour ago, finally I went to front desk, asked about appointment where they informed me that I was not listed in the time slot that I had made appointment. No one until I inquired told me this or I would have cleared this up much sooner. After clearing this up the front desk asked me for my order, although my physicians had sent it, and my insurance card. I provided it immediately. Then I was again told that they would be right with me, that was 20 minutes ago and I’m still waiting. In short this is poor customer service and they do not care about others time…, Funny sign on wall stated that quote «Customer Service is our business» I teach in medical and have a customer service training class, this place doesn’t even come close to meeting a positive customer service experience…,.patient beware… you have a choice of where to receive service!

This location opens up at 8a. I arrived at 8:30a and there were upwards of 10 people waiting to be seen. It went by quickly however, and I was out an hour later.
They require a credit/​debit card at the time of check-​in even with insurance. This is in the event insurance does not pay for something. This was a first for me, usually a bill is sent in such an instance. I just had simple blood-​work (CBC, etc) yet the total was $ 1,100.00 if insurance does not cover it! Again, surprise to me.
The location was clean, but not state of the art. The front desk rep went through the list quickly. I did not like that they collect all our documents AND credit card then ask that you have a seat. Everyone knows you credit/​debit card should never be out of sight.
The urine samples are placed in regular disposable cups, where the patient personally writes the name onto it. This is different from the twist cap clear containers with a preprinted label with patient information.
The technician who drew my blood was not the most joyous, continued to repeat «ma’am» in an odd tone. She manipulated my arm in various positions before it was time to draw the blood, as opposed to telling me to shift my arm from A to B. Lastly, the tourniquet was placed tightly on my arm before the rep selected her needle, gathered her containers, prepped my arm, and finally collected 3 tubes of blood. As a certified phlebotomist, I know personally that this goes against standard practice, as the max time a tourniquet should stay on is 1 to 2 minutes.
All-​in-​all, it was not a disastrous experience. I was rather concerned and hesitant to go after reading the reviews on Unilocal

Horrible! The staff can’t even find a vein and if they do, they collapse it.

My physician sent me to LabCorp for some blood work. I
arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appt. I was not impressed with the
cleanliness of the waiting room or the reception desk, but decided to reserve judgment
until I saw the back of the facility.
While waiting, I noticed several patients who seemed to be quite unhappy with some aspect of their service.. One patient was very vocal and argumentative. I think the
office staff should have invited her back to a waiting room to discuss her
concerns, Instead the entire waiting room became privy to her complaints.
Originally I believed the woman was probably misinformed by her doctor, but as
the discussion drew on, it appeared that she had been kept waiting for two
hours and had been given misinformation by one or more of the employees.
Instead of apologizing, the staff continued to argue with her. It was very
unprofessional.
The third strike — I was kept waiting 40 minutes past my
scheduled appointment. I could not wait any longer and approached the desk to
retrieve my paperwork and credit card. It appears that one of the employees was
just getting around to inputting my information into the computer. This took 40
minutes? No wonder I never made it past the waiting room.

RECIVED FALSE LAB REPORTS! Not only did they collapse the vein in my arm, but after seeing THREE different specialists (an expensive mistake), and another blood test at a different facility, that I realized they gave me false blood results. It was done by technician William (I forgot his last name). Went to the Labcorp on Glebe road in Arlington and it was 100 times better. Long story short, THEY GAVE ME FALSE BLOOD WORK. SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT GO HERE WITH A 10 FOOT POLL!!!

I’ve had to come here once a month for the past five months and it’s the same experience every damn time. I honestly don’t understand what takes so long. I wait for AT LEAST half an hour when it literally takes them 60 seconds to draw my blood. There’s an option to make an appointment, but don’t bother. You’ll still have to wait all afternoon.

I went to LabCorp’s Fairfax, VA facility in December 2012. I was apprehensive about my visit after I read several negative reviews about LabCorp facilities in the Northern VA Area. However, my experience was great. I was greeted by a LabCorp technician who was busy co-​managing the front desk and responsible for administering several of the procedures. While seated in the waiting room, I observed the LabCorp technician helping a patient who was mistakingly sent to that location by their Drs office for a procedure that is done at a different LabCorp. The technician apologized on behalf of the Dr and called the other LapCorp asking them to do her a favor and please fit in this patient who had a scheduled appointment. The patient was very grateful and left thanking the technician for her help. When I was seen by the technician, I observed she was pleasantly professional yet had a personal touch. The facility was busy yet she treated all patients with smile and an abundance of patience. As I was leaving, I thanked her for putting me at ease with my procedure and told her I was expecting an unpleasant experience based on patient reviews of their facility. So, I wanted to balance the reviews and let folks know that they should have an open mind when they go to the LabCorp at Fairfax, VA and know that there are likely numerous patients who had a good experience like myself but did not write a review and that the handful that did write a negative review are far and few between. Thank you LabCorp technicians, specifically Shea, for your sensitivity to customer awareness, professionalism, and kindness towards the patients.

From a medical point of view, they are ok. The folks know what they are doing. but from a service perspective, they suck. there is an obscure sign up book kept at the counter and unless you have been there before you don’t know about it. Nobody tells you to sign up. A first time patient sat for 20 minutes before she knew about signing up. Secondly, the receptionist is rude when i walked up to the window to ask her a question whether they provide a certain service, she asked me to take a seat and walk up when my number was called. I saw 3 – 4 folks who came before me have their number called. I asked one of them, if she had an appointment. She said no. So, the service is not in a first come first served basis. Its a chaos. after waiting for 40 minutes, my name was called only to be to, d they don’t perform that test. What a pain in the you know where. I tried to be polite and let the receptionist know that had she answered my question, the first time, it would have saved me 40 minutes. She didn’t seem to care. I aint going to that location, again…

Is this the DMV or a lab??? I can’t tell. Each time I come I mistakenly expect whoever will greet me at the front desk might be in a good mood… maybe? Of course not! Why you ask? Oh because the DMV and labcorp share employees to ensure that same great customer service is spread out throughout the community therefor having a greater chance of spreading the negativity. Lol! Run people run away! I’m done with labcorp. Switching to Quest labs from now on.

Went here for some routine lab work. Since my Dr.‘s office doesn’t have a lab, I had to find something close to my house. I wanted to go early in the morning, since I needed to fast before my blood was drawn. I found this location online, I had never been before.
1^st plus — you can schedule your appointment online! They don’t require an appointment, but it’s nice to know that you can make one. I made mine for 9:15am, which was the earliest available that day, but they open at 8am.
It’s in a nice medical building right off 50 near the Harris Teeter and West Ox Road junction, easy to find. Plenty of parking.
I arrived a little early, and the waiting room had about 10 people in it. They were all called up pretty quickly, though.
Make sure that you bring your insurance card AND a credit card. Since they are a 3^rd party, they will submit your medical claim to your insurance for you, but as a «Plan B» in the event your insurance doesn’t cover it, they expect you to pay. They have you sign a paper saying you will pay for it if your insurance doesn’t. (Mine was $ 1300! Yikes!) If your insurance does cover it, they destroy your credit card info.
The technician who drew my blood was very nice. She did an excellent job. I don’t like needles and blood so I looked away, but she was very gentle and switched out the vials 4 or 5 times and I didn’t feel a thing. I told her that she was in the right profession, she’s really good at it!
Was seen at 9:18 and I was out the door by 9:23. The only reason I held off a star was that a gentleman in the lobby asked for paper cups for the water dispenser, and they had run out. Receptionist was efficient and polite enough, but had zero personality. I’d go here again.
