If you want a frozen burger, this is the place for you! We were the only people in there at 6:00 on a Saturday night during football season, so that should’ve told us something from the get-go.

Was great when it was first opened, but it has went all the way down fast. Our food was disgusting. Our order was wrong. Hope things improve. I hate giving a bad review.

My friend suggested this place after we were walking around Fairfax corners and we were all hungry and wanted a quick bite before we departed from each other. Nice sports bar kinda vibe and a pretty decent menu. Im only giving this place two stars because the food was pretty decent. But we did not get great service. The guy behind the cash register seemed confused. Maybe he was new but he messed up my friends order and gave us no receipts. Asked us if we wanted a drink with our combo meals… Piece of shit.

This place is awesome. They went above and beyond customer service. I was walking my dog with my son as we passed fan fare. He mentioned he wanted a burger. As we started to tie the dog outside, my son began to cry. He was very worried about leaving him outside while we placerd our order. Kiara the cashier, asked my son what was wrong, as he explained, an older gentleman that worked there over heard and offered to go outside and stay with our dog. Not only that but he brought out water for him! This immediately cheered up my son. Both the gentleman and Kiara, I feel went out their way to cheer him up. Now on to the food, we have been coming here for a while now and they never disappoint. From the burgers, hot dogs, salads, to kick ass milk shakes, everything we have ordered has been great! Big selection of hot sauces and have that cool fountain soda machine. This is my burger place for life!

This is an average fast food restaurant, no different from your local McDonald’s, but it does have a better atmosphere! I came here in a group hoping to get a discount on the movie tickets next door(a ticket is $ 7.50 if you check-in here and $ 8 if you buy something there that is at least $ 10)! If it weren’t for that movie ticket deal, I probably wouldn’t have wanted to eat there. I ordered their veggie burger with fries, and I actually liked it. I’m usually picky about my veggie burgers, especially if it’s evident that there are actual vegetable pieces being shown. I admit the bun and everything else was pretty greasy, so I only ate some of my meal and took it home for lunch the next day. Menu had very minimal selections(especially for those who don’t consume meat) and the kid’s meals were great for my boyfriend’s little brother, because it was still plentiful and he also had a leftover hot dog! Check this place out though if you’re not too picky about the level of fanciness and/or aren’t too picky about food in general. The movie ticket deal offered is actually better than how they would be if you showed your student ID!

This was my second time at Fanfare. I came to fanfare since I LOVE glory days burgers. I am a little disappointed in the low selection of burger options but no worries. I was however pretty disappointed that the burger was not nearly as good as what I am used to at glory days grill. It seems like that use different patties which I was not a fan of. The fries are pretty good and I do enjoy the fanfare sauce!

Food quality: I give a 4.5 for fresh, tasty and well prepared. Price: decent, but they can nickel and dime you on extras. Service: fast and friendly Atmosphere: sporty and fun, but a little crowded.

All I can say is… MAC N CHEESEBURGER with a Gingerbread milkshake… YUM!!! Burgers were a good size, fries were great as well. The milkshake was very small(16oz i think) but delicious. Also there are T. V’s everywhere to watch whatever sports game you want… and a box on the table that will let you tune in to whatever particular T. V you want and listen to it. I will be coming here during football season for sure!

We were in the area and were looking for a place to have an inexpensive meal. I told my husband about Fanfare Eatery and what was on the menu and he agreed to give it a try. This place is very popular with families. The dining room is small. I can just imagine how tight seating is when they are really busy. We were here around 4:30 on a Saturday and already the majority of the tables were taken. Like its sister restaurant, Glory Days, the place is sports-themed. There are several TVs with each showing a different channel broadcasting different sport events. However, one TV was showing cartoons. The seat cushions were basically stadium cushions from different colleges. My seat had Kent State and the one next to me had Virginia Tech. The acoustics are terrible thus it is loud. All that is tolerable because nothing about the menu or the service encourages hanging around and slowly eating your meal — and that, IMO, is okay. You go to the counter to order. The menu is on the wall. It consists of burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, wings, fries, onion rings and various sides. Plus you can get a milkshake. After ordering, you are given a number to put in a stand on your table. We both ordered the cheeseburger meal. The menu doesn’t tell you what is in the«meal» as opposed to a non-meal cheeseburger, so I had to ask. The«meal» means that you get a soda and your choice of either fries or onion rings. The default toppings for the cheeseburger are lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions, also you get to choose which cheese you want. I chose American cheese and asked for no onions and my husband chose Swiss cheese. There are condiments on the table plus a hot sauce bar. We also ordered the Glory Days chicken wings and chose mild sauce. We got the smallest size which consists of 6 pieces. They are served with either ranch dressing or blue cheese and some celery sticks. The wings were fried then tossed in sauce. We liked them as they were meaty and crispy although they were heavy-handed with the sauce. The mild sauce is vinegar-based and has some kick to it so I hate to think what the hot sauce is like! The burgers were cooked well done but weren’t dried out. We found them to be okay but forgettable. For some reason, my fries were crispier than my husband’s. For a cheap meal, you could do worse. Service was friendly and prompt — no complaints at all there. Dinner cost about $ 29 for the two of us. We would consider going back if we want to eat cheap and were in the area.

Apparently this place is owned by Glory Days. I was on the fence about ordering boneless wings or a burger. So I ordered both. The burger wasn’t that great. The beef was really tight almost like a frozen patty is when cooked frozen. Definitely not fresh. The bun was soggy on top & the bottom was stale. The boneless wings with glory sauce are pretty good. I most likely won’t go back. Overall not a fan.

How hard is it to cook a burger medium rare? Here… it’s impossible. Tried it for the first time tonight and I ordered their Fanfare burger and asked for medium rare. Was told it was no problem. I get my burger and take a bite. Yuck! Way overly well done on both patties. Asked the girl who took my order if that was their version of medium rare. She was surprised how overly cooked it was. She quickly went back and had him make me a new one because I was in a rush to catch a movie. Second one came out. Was just as bad as the first. Not even a slight hint of pink anywhere in the patties. I was so hungry and had no time to wait for anything else, so I forced it down my throat. The only good flavors were the toppings. If they actually had made it medium rare, it would have been amazing. If I wanted an over cooked burger, I would have gotten a McDouble at McDonalds and saved almost $ 9! Before I left I told the person who looked to be the manager and his attitude was«Oh well» and barely said sorry. You will not see me eating at this place again. Horrible cooks and a manager that’s indifferent. I’m literally sitting in my car in front of this place that supposedly serves food, so if that manager is reading this… good job losing a customer that comes to Fairfax Corner often to eat.

I was surprisingly happy with the food here. I honestly only opted for this place because the wait times were too long at the other restaurants nearby. I had the Fanfare Signature which was a pretty solid burger. The brioche bun created a fun mix of upscale burger stylings with sports bar satisfaction. The fries were notably salty, but I actually prefer them that way. The beer selection was weak. They only had a few on tap and nothing in a bottle selection. I would happily give this place an extra star if they expanded it. As a side note, I always though Glory Days locations were kind of dimly lit and outdated. The Fanfare venture is refreshingly much better. This place is good for grabbing a quick meal before seeing a movie.

Fanfare is good, but does have a chain restaurant taste to it. I had the Cheese Steak with double meat with seasoned fries. Unique to Fanfare is their large wall with many hot sauces, but that’s about it. Also they have many TVs showing a variety of sporting events.

Amazing! Polite service, tasty food, and a huge sauce bar. Please try the buffalo chicken burger topped with macaroni and cheese, dipped in the homemade chipotle sauce.

**Review for Fanfare Burger only.** I must have shown up on a bad night. I didn’t get to make it to the Unilocal event here and finally got around to checking it out myself. My burger was dry and overcooked. There wasn’t anything special about it. The staff seemed really nice and helpful, but I’ve had better burgers elsewhere.

As others have said, you order at the counter and your food is brought out to your table. We walked in on Saturday about 1:00. My first concern — this place was packed… with kids. Normally, this would be a red flag, but my husband and I were craving wings so we decided to stay. We ordered a dozen Glory wings, a bowl of chili to split and a couple of beers, Devil’s Backbone for me and Sam Adams Ocktoberfest for him. The young man taking our order was quite friendly and brought everything out to our table when it was ready so I will have to say the service was good. The chili was great — very flavorful and topped with cheddar and raw onions. Pretty delicious and very satisfying on a chilly fall day. The wings were huge and prepared well. We were not fans of the Glory sauce — too sweet and not spicy enough for our tastes. I wish we had gotten the hot sauce. Beers were cold although served in plastic glasses. I would definitely return, but more than likely in an evening when the kids were not quite so plentiful. I will say they were very well behaved… probably due to all the cartoons on the many TVs throughout the place. Well played Fanfare!

Food here is amazing. However I had an unfortunate mix up with my order, what was handled quite poorly. I’m not sure who the manager was but she was wear a bright yellow shirt, standing out from all the other workers, so I’m going to assume it was her. The person than rang me up was incredibly friendly, I had ordered a burger and fries. But my fries did not come out, when I asked the lady in yellow said that I had not. I went back and asked for a copy of the receipt that I had signed, there was«FRIES $ 1.99» clearly on the receipt. When the clerk said that I had ordered the fries the lady turned around and argued saying that it was not on the receipt she saw, which was a copy of the one I originally signed. The clerk even showed her as well. I clearly paid for it. I clearly had proof. Yet she was going to snap back and forth with me that I did not. She eventually brought out my fries. Without a single word.

Deliciously awesome and will make you gain 10 pounds at the same time. Been here several times and each time it hits the spot. Located behind Potbelly near the Fairfax Corner movie theatre, it’s a great place to go after the movie(unless you have tums with you… yes it might send you to the bathroom). But if you go before, they offer $ 7.50 movie tickets. It’s a place where you order your food and sit down. Things that I’ve had– –Cheesesteak is flavorful and full of meat –Fanfare special is a double cheeseburger with sauteed onions and bacon– soooo good but you WILL feel guilty after… I still do and it’s been 2 days since I’ve had it –Glory boneless wings– small, not too much sauce, its Ok –Fries– skinny fries, throw in some old bay seasoning and you’re good to go –Onion rings– big pieces of onion, seasoned to perfection Food comes out hot and burger sizes are decent. Love the soda machine with a million options but I enjoy their sweet tea very much, it’s not too sweet. Prices are affordable. This place is a great place for sports games because of all the TV’a throughout the restaurant. You also get a portable thingy where you can pick what TV you want to listen to and it’s at each table. Service is generally fast and employees are friendly.

Located in Fairfax Station, Fanfare Eatery is nestled behind Ozzie’s Good Eats. This is a fun place to hang out with friends and watch sports. The sports theme explodes all over the venue but not in a tacky, classless way. I would venture to say that they would like to brag most about their 6 – 8 oz burgers(which are very good) but I was most impressed with them being a cheaper version of Glory Days. They serve the Glory Wings at a fraction of the price of the Glory Days Sports Bar. Win! I honestly wanted to sample everything on this menu but my tummy wouldn’t allow. However, my next visit will include one of their spiked milkshakes. They come in favors of vanilla, strawberry, Oreo, and chocolate. The bar isn’t a full one, but they have the basics to get you buzzed.

I had a ridiculously severe craving for wings and hot dogs over the weekend(I realize just how classy that makes me) so the manfriend and I headed out to Fanfare, where I could indulge in both! This was our second or third time eating here, and it was peachy keen. I got a Chicago dog, my boyfriend got a burger, and we split wings and the soft pretzels. The pretzels are kind of a rip, because you only get two sticks for what you pay for, but everything else was great! The hot wings come covered in jalepenos, which was unexpected, but definitely helped with the zing. My hot dog was awesome — love that bright green Chicago relish — and my boyfriend seemed to like his burger. They’re offering a dinner & a movie deal right now where you can get a burger, fries, and a drink + a voucher for a movie ticket at the Rave around the corner for $ 15! Considering tickets to the movies are like $ 11 alone these days, that seems like a rockin’ deal to me. I think the girl at the register was asking me if I wanted to do that, too, subbing my hot dog instead of a burger, but I got confused and didn’t think you could do that. Silly Gretchen. I’m super not into sports, but I do like the concept of the sporty décor — old stadium seats, college teams represented everywhere, etc. It probably won’t be my first go-to restaurant in Fairfax Towne Center, given that Ozzie’s is right next door, but for a casual bite to eat, Fanfare seems like a solid choice!
