History

Established in 2014.

As part of the Ecstatic Dance Family, this dance was started by Tyler Blank & Peter Weinstein as Ecstatic DownTemple, and has now evolved into a full tempo spectrum as Ecstatic Dance Fairfax.

This Dance benefits the Center for Embodied Spirituality at the Fairfax Community Church, with Reverend Katharine Harts.

Business Owner

Tyler began Ecstatic Dance Oakland back in 2008. When he moved to Fairfax in 2014 to raise a child, it wasn’t long before the community in town convinced him to start a dance here. With the Groove Garden shutting down in 2012, the time was right to again have Conscious Dance in Fairfax, this time every week instead of once a month! ;)
