Specialties
My name is Janet Laubgross, and I’ve been helping people – all types of people, with all types of concerns for over twenty-five years in my private practice. In addition, I provide unique programs for marriage counseling (Awaken Your Marriage), weight management (Weight Management for Life), and coaching for professionals (LifeStyle Coach for Professional Women).
Discussing your problems with an experienced, licensed, clinical psychologist is a positive first step in achieving your goals. Together, we will begin the process of getting your life back on the right track.
History
Established in 1987.
I view psychological treatment as a partnership. The therapy process begins in the first session when you explain your concerns, and I provide feedback and recommendations. From the beginning, we will work together to set goals, define problem areas, and map out the best way to proceed.
Your treatment plan will be individualized according to your needs and circumstances. Along the way, I’ll provide guidance and concrete suggestions to help you get «unstuck» from unproductive patterns of behavior.
Together, we will create solutions that work for you. The overriding premise is for you to attain improved quality of life, and greater happiness — in a positive, supportive environment.
I work with adults and teenagers. I can see you individually, as a couple, as a family, or in a group setting. Often, a combination of treatment modalities is best. Together, we will decide the best way to proceed for you.
