Renee is the absolute BEST! She takes good care of our dog and he adores her! I get pictures and a full report on how their walks went. She clearly loves animals and is so willing to come on off days when we have an unexpected need for our dog to be cared for. I could not imagine anyone else taking care of our BFF (best furry friend!)

Moving to the area recently, I found Claws N Paws online initially for the dog walking service, and could not be happier. I work extensive hours and Renee has been like family to myself and my dog since day one. Renee not only takes my dog for walks, but also feeds him, brings him to the dog park, introduces him to other dogs in the area, and has even pet sat for me on multiple occasions. I get daily, real time updates via text message from Renee with pictures and descriptions of the days activities for my Siberian Husky. My work schedule is constantly changing and I have yet to run into an issue where Renee was not able to take care of my dog for me, even on last second notice. I highly recommend Claws N Paws for dog walking, overnight pet sitting, dog park visits, and overall being the parent for your pet while you are unable to be there. On numerous occasions I have come home from work to find a new toy for my dog from Renee, which is always nice to see as a pet owner. Additionally, Renee always goes out of her way to ensure that food, supplies, medications and anything else relating to you pets care is stocked up. Very reliable, multitude of services offered, great price and overall top notch pet care.

I took my golden here ! She did a wonderful job! She got a bath, a trim, her ears cleaned, and nails cut! My golden was worn out after the hours of playing with the other dog too! Great experience! Will be returning.

One of the main reasons I chose Claws N Paws was the fact that my pets (dog/​cat) would develop a bond and have consistency with one caretaker, and in the five months Renee has been caring for them, this has indeed proven true. Renee comes in daily (M-​F) to walk my dog and always gives attention to my cat. She has also provided care for them when I’m away for overnights and I have peace of mind knowing they are being cared for as she would care for her own which is so important to me. I appreciate the regular text updates that Renee provides, as they enable me to do to sleep without worry or concern about their well-​being.

Here was my first experience with this company’s service:
— At our first meeting — the owner was 45 minutes late
— She wished to reschedule our appointment on Wednesday (to which I completely understood the reasoning behind it) — and changed it to Sunday per her request
— On Sunday, she picked up my dog 20 minutes late for her scheduled 9:00 AM departure
— I texted the owner at 9:36 AM requesting to know when you would be dropping her off, to which she responded more than one hour later «probably 4:00 pm but if earlier will let you know». Personally I was uncomfortable having my dog gone for 6 ½ hours for a bath, nail and ear trim, and overall light trim of her coat. But, I gave her the benefit of the doubt that the Groomer may have other dogs to groom that day. I was worried when I received no photos, texts or phone calls all day telling me how my dog was.
— The owner of the company texted me 40 minutes after my dog was scheduled to be dropped off at my house TELLING me you will be dropping her off after 7:00 PM Sunday night — effectively making it a 12 hour ordeal, and in turn not REQUESTING PERMISSION. I did NOT ask the company to BOARD my dog, you offered to groom her, she is an Australian Shepard not a Standard Poodle. 12 HOURS IS UNACCEPTABLE and UNPROFESSIONAL! I became alarmed and concerned for her well-​being.
— The owner told me they would drop my dog off at 5:45 PM and did not arrive until nearly 6:20 PM — 35 MINUTES LATE and she is lucky she showed up when you did because I almost called the Police!
The owner of the company obviously has a serious, serious problem with punctuality not to mention, failure to request permission to the owner who has never used their services before and ASSUME this is acceptable.
Again, my original request was for her to bathe my dog, trim her ears and nails, and her legs and hind quarters. NOT to hold my dog for nearly NINE HOURS!
Furthermore, my dog vomitted after she dropped her off with some chicken/​corn people food I do not give my dog. My dog had not one thing in her stomach, and the owner was NOT sent with food for my dog and must have given her some sort of concoction I never disclosed was permissible. The dog seemed lethargic and exhausted; clearly stressed, not relaxed. She didn’t snap out of it until this morning.
Lastly, as a Groomer for 10+ years let me ask you if you think this kind of «trimming» is acceptable or professional (see attached photos)? Her poor feet are chopped up so badly, with long hairs still between her toes. You failed to trim the inside of her ears as I explicitly requested (and was the purpose behind allowing you to groom her), and under her belly/​hind quarters is nearly shaved down to nothing. It looks like something a drunk person would do. I am so embarrassed with the kind of service I received. Do not use if you care for your pet!
