For how tiny this place is, it has an amazing amount of stuff. I don’t know if I’d go here looking for a particular THING, but you’re bound to find lots of them. There’s even a strange animal corner. It’s not a place to check out during a busy time if you have problems with small spaces and lots of people. I can’t imagine going here when it actually is Halloween. It must be insane. The people who work here are really nice and seem to know where things are, somehow. The store really feels like everything Halloween-y and party-ish got jumbled up. It’s cool and overwhelming. You will find something you want.

This town is as creepy as this store. I mean, it is just kind of weird, or maybe it is all in my head. It didn’t help that the people I was with kept comparing the feeling they had to the movie House of Wax. Out of the five or so stores they have on the street, the main is the best. It is dark and overwhelmingly full of halloween mischief. I didn’t buy anything, but their prices seemed to be okay, maybe some stuff overpriced. It was just enjoyable taking in all the sites… and smells. These are old buildings, throw that in with a bunch of molded masks and plastics and it gave each store a unique creepy odor. It seems as we went from store to store, the creepiness and odd feeling increased. The last store we went to actually had real human skeletons for sale and a two headed cat in a jar of formaldehyde. Spooky fun! store

I visited Dayton all last week, and as it is October, I was able to see Foy’s chock full of, well, everything. For anyone who has not visited Foy’s, I will try to explain it as best I can. The place reeks of nostalgia. The floors are old wood, the aisles are a bit cramped, the merchandise goes to the ceiling, and the candy selection is prime, especially if you were a child in the seventies who loved going to the local Little League field and buying bags of penny candy: ten types of Frooties, those little pastel-colored dots aligned in rows on white paper, Sugar Daddies, Sugar Babies, Laffy Taffy, candy corn, chocolate-covered everything, Swedish Fish, Lemonheads, etc. You can easily fill a plastic-type Wal-Mart bag for twenty dollars, if you wanted(I came close). During October, the store is full of masks, wigs, accessories, and just about every gag item you can imagine for Halloween. Plastic vomit, seven types of fake poop, hillbilly teeth … need I go on? The store has items from the fifties, sixties, seventies, all the way up to our time, and to see the entire mess put before one is a heady experience. When we visited, I bought too many Frooties and banana taffy pieces, and yet now that I am back in Washington, I wish I’d bought more. Better, the employees are really nice. They seem to like their jobs. The owner was very friendly, as well. I do not think you can ask for a better trip through time.

I love this place! I’ve been coming here every year for… well, forever! The family history of this store(now many stores) is wonderful, everyone is super friendly(lots of staff are family… which makes it even better!) and they have literally EVERYTHING you could possibly want for a terrific Halloween. The décor is amazing and there’s so much to see! I have moved to Los Angeles… but I still try to make it back during Halloween season each year to see Foy’s…I highly recommend that anyone who is a fan of Halloween make the trip out to see Foy’s…it’s a great time!!! Something for everyone…

This place is cool! I was visiting Fairborn, and stumbled onto these Foy’s Halloween shops. I like that the shops are set in this town’s main street, which reminded me of how old towns were. The shops have everything Halloween, and pretty much every costume you can imagine. They even sell the classic candy genera.

If you’re looking for Halloween supplies, you should definitely come here. There are five Foy’s stores here in Fairborn all with a slightly different focus/inventory. This particular store has supplies and the largest collection of masks I’ve ever seen.

Okay, so I’m one of those people who gets into Halloween maybe a little too much. With that said, I strongly recommend a trip to foy’s for any decoration or costume needs. This store isn’t the only unique location, though. The foy family actually owns several locations on this street making it the most festively spooky little Halloween town around. There is an adult costume shop, kids costume shop, foy’s variety store, foy’s haunted house and special effects store and foy’s rock and roll diner all located within walking distAnce. Oh, did I mention that foy’s also has an amazing array of ben nye, false lashes and latex and spirit gum? As a makeup artist and Halloween enthusist foy’s is basically paradise.

Foy’s is a Halloween store which is open year round. Sound strange? It is. It is also an outstanding store. This place has such a cult following that they have a second location, directly across the street. I haven’t ever been in a Halloween store with as much variety as this. Masks, gloves, hats, shirts, swords, fake blood, animatronics, and the list goes on and on. If you love Halloween, this is your Holy land. Once you find it, you will be hard pressed to leave.
