Absolutely LOVE this quaint boutique. As soon as I step in I’m greeted by lovely faces that are willing to help find my next outstanding outfit. I have been in a few times now and I have found some favorite «go-​to» pieces each time I stop in. Best consignment boutique in the area. I highly recommend!!!

I normally avoid consignment shops because they’re usually jam-​packed with random clothes and accessories, and it’s hard to shop in the mess and chaos. But when I walked into Moth Hole I was pleasantly surprised!
I started following the shop on IG and, within days of the follow, I was enticed to check them out in person (btw, whoever does their photography for social media is awesome!) I saw a Michael Kors wallet on IG going for $ 40 and had to have it!
I walked in to the cleanest consignment shop I had ever seen. It was more organized than even a Ross or Marshall’s. I looked around at the clothing for a bit but was really on a time crunch. Spotted the wallet and was amazed at how clean and NEW it looked! I checked it thoroughly for sunlight fading, lose stitches, inside stains, weird smells, scuff marks, holes, bad zipper, or chips on the zipper pull/​front logo. NOTHING. The ONLY sign of previous use was the credit card pockets being slightly stretched but that just made it much easier for me to fit mine in. I can’t believe that I got a $ 140 wallet that looks brand new for $ 40!
I will definitely be back with all my friends. As I was leaving they had some beautiful jewelry pieces that I want to take a closer look at next time. Clean shop, high end merch (Michael, Louie, Chanel oh my!), and excellent prices… The Triple Threat!

Went into this cute boutique for the first time today and was impressed! Mother and daughter team who were very friendly and professional, made you feel welcome in the store! High-​end, quality items only! A very pleasant experience. Will be returning! :-)

Not only are the clothes great quality, new and consigned, but the owner Lauren and all of her staff truly care about you and helping you find exactly what you are looking for. I love that they are posting daily to their social media pages. All I need to do to find a cute outfit, pair of shoes, or even a new handbag, is open my instagram! More than once I have made purchases directly from instagram. Oh, did I mention that they accept paypal. Shopping can not get any easier than at Moth Hole! I checked this cute boutique out with my mom yesterday and was very pleased. The costumer service was great and the selection of clothes was great! I got three blouses and she got a necklace. We will be back!!!

Love this place! You can tell the clothing is picked very carefully. Handbags, shoes, jewelry and other accessories are always of good quality. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to go back in! :-)

I came in here an hour before closing needing last minute office attire for an interview I had the next morning.
This sense of pressure was compounded by the fact that I was shopping alone. So, I had no friends present to help make the situation fun or give me feedback on what worked and what didn’t.
The two ladies present graciously let me borrow them as sudden «friends» to give me feedback. They were incredibly helpful, encouraging, and honest. They helped turn a stressful event (I was there til closing) into a really delightful experience.
The prices aren’t necessarily ‘cheap’ (like Ross, TJ Maxx, etc) but you get AMAZING deals for what you pay (i.e.: a gorgeous Calvin Klein skirt for $ 17). Moth Hole carries clothing and labels of incredibly high quality (many still with the tags on). For those looking to invest in high quality clothing at a fraction of the cost, this place is for you.
I went back in with a friend two days later. One of the girls who had helped me was there, recognized me, and asked me how my interview went.
The service I got was amazing and the selection of clothing is beautiful (as is the layout of the store).

After following following this store online for many weeks I was finally able to make it in. I saw a purse on their Instagram account I just HAD to have.
They quality of the purse was perfect. And the price was super fair. This was my first time buying from a consignment boutique store.
I loved the store, everything was perfectly displayed. So many options, I could have spent lots of money and time in here. I will definitely be back! I’m so glad I stopped in.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THE MOTH HOLE! If you have not been, you must go! Lauren and her staff are awesome! They even close the place for private parties. My friends and I drink champagne and have a wonderful time at the Moth Hole. They have an outstanding selection of everything especially jewelry, purses and shoes. I’m not sure about dropping off clothes but shopping is the best.

Followed Moth Hole through Instagram and noticed a pair of Frye shoes (super fabulous leather brand). I messaged them what size/​cost they were and they immediately got back to me (on a Sunday evening). Monday morning I was sent more pics of the shoes to see them better and by Tuesday morning they were shipped to me. Super easy transaction through PayPal… I would HIGHLY recommend Moth Hole. Love, Love, Love my new shoes.

Beautiful and immaculate consignment boutique. Lauren is super sweet. She and her staff know exactly what excellent customer service is. I consigned a pair of jeans spur of the moment that I had brought with me and Lauren made the process simple and easy. No separate appointment unlike some places. Another awesome thing that they did for me was putting a pair of shoes on hold that I saw on Instagram and waiting for me to come in the next day. They could have easily sold these gorgeous shoes possibly right away after posting them. Love being appreciated– just fabulous!

Moth hole consignment is my new favorite place to shop! The staff is helpful and friendly and they have a trendy collection of clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories. I just went today and I can’t wait to go back! Also, they have an awesome instagram page that features new arrivals and fun outfits.

Just moved from Colorado & found the most adorable consignment boutique! The décor is cute, fresh & creative… love the chandeliers in the dressing rooms & the black/​white striped curtains! The staff was attentive & gave good advice… helped me put together outfits! The clothes are beautiful & on trend & displayed by size which makes shopping a breeze. Did I mention the cookies? I had so much fun and ended up with over $ 1000.00 worth of clothes for like $ 200.00 (most of my items had original price tags. like a Ralph Lauren raincoat that sold for $ 200.00 that I got for $ 20.00 and a pair of pants priced at $ 110.00 that I got for $ 5.00)!! Can’t wait for them to restock so I can go back & buy more! LOVE THE MOTH HOLE!

We love the Moth Hole Boutique as a favorite spot to frequent in Fair Oaks with reasonable prices, stellar customer service and such a great selection of fashionable clothing and jewelry! Lauren has such a great eye for quality and style. We’ve found the best gifts here for friends and family, picked up some amazing dresses for special occasions and have found just the right added touches for our professional studio’s photographic sessions. The new renovations look amazing!

I dropped off some clothes here today for the first time (decided to drop them off here based off of the great ratings on Unilocal). The employees there were so friendly /​welcoming & made the whole process comfortable & easy. The store looks really nice as well. Highly recommend!

I stopped in to see the new location. Right away I was greeted by all 3 employees. I was fortunate to have the owner, Lauren, pick out an outfit for a Christmas party. I received a number of compliments and definitely felt like a million bucks! I lack a sense of fashion so it’s nice to have ladies there to help with putting together outfits and giving honest opinions. Thank you! I will definitely be back!

YOU must visit this shop! It is not like other consignment stores… very clean, organized and fashion forward with what they want to show you, their new customer! I have been trading with them for years and this new location is 5 star! Very organized, coordinated and easy on the eyes to see what you are looking for… or not… so much quality to be had!

One of my favorite consignment shops in the SAC area — they also have NEW items. Moth Hole recently moved from thier old corner spot next to Fabian’s Italian Restaurant in the same shopping center. Nicely decorated, clean and well-​organized! If you have yet to visit the Moth Hole, do yourself a favor and stop in!

As long as I have lived here in Fair Oaks and have drove passed this shop I never stopped in. A couple of months ago, I finally dropped in and I am here to say… not only is the STAFF SUPER SWEET and KIND, HELPFUL! They remember you even the conversations you had with them! The clothes they accept are always clean, have all buttons, no rips or defects, surely one of a kind and only upscale but without the big price tag. they have shoes, purses, jewelry, hats and much more.
100% guarantee that you will not be disappointed! December 2 they are having a Holiday Celebration from 6 pm to 8pm. A drawing for $ 150.00…whoop whoop! I’ll be stopping in!

Love this place, I stop in whenever I can. They have unique, boutique style clothes for a fraction of the price (I love their sale racks). Whenever I am looking for something special I can count on The Moth Hole!

This place is a gem in the fair oaks area! I especially love it because (let’s be honest) girls don’t like to shop alone! It’s somewhere myself and my mom or my friends or even my grandma can go shop and everyone will find something they love! If you don’t have a shopping date the staff at Moth Hole are more then accommodating to help you with exactly what your looking for from head to toe with no pressure. With a wide current selection, very reasonable prices, and an adorable atmosphere Moth Hole is a must stop!

Nice little store, but over priced for used items. The new items are a little pricy too. If money is not a issue for wearing someone’s used items then they have a good selection. I rather go to the thrift store.

The new owner, Lauren (and her husband Steve) have worked so incredibly hard to revamp the store and make it a wonderful place to shop and consign… and it shows! You are always greeted with a warm friendly smile and most times it can be from the owner herself. Not only does she run the business, but you can also spot her taking consignments, manning the register, restocking shelves, etc.
Whether you are in your twenties, or your sixties, there is always something that can be found to suit your style. They have amazing designer purses, denim, dresses, shoes, etc. They also have a vast array of jewelry, both simple and elegant to bold and colorful. It is a one stop shop for all of your fashion needs and desires!
I can’t say enough good things about this store. It is a beautiful place with amazingly fashionable staff who love helping people walk out the door feeling dressed to impress wherever they might be headed!
