To accomplish this, we will prequalify you for coverage. This prequalification service is unique in the industry. We will essentially pre-underwrite you and obtain answers to all the questions that will be asked when you finally go through formal underwriting. In this way all underwriting challenges and concerns can be addressed before an official record is made of your inquiry. You will not have to risk any unnecessary negative marks on your personal history of insurance applications.
With this «underwriting intelligence» we can make sure the most competitive carrier (s) for your particular risk profile is solicited for quotes. And since we do our homework and provide them with thorough and accurate quote information, we expect them to make a commitment to this price. We continue to act as your advocate all throughout underwriting and will «hold the carrier’s feet to the fire» if any glitches arise. (Insurance companies can make mistakes too.)
Prequalification can take anywhere from a day or so to several weeks, depending on the underwriting issues you present. People with no major health or lifestyle issues can receive quotes right away.
History
Established in 1998.
I grew up in my father’s life insurance general agency. As a young child I used to prepare mailings for the agents in his office. I continued to work there through high school and into my college years. The life insurance business became part of my blood.
After school I worked at a number of sales and marketing positions and eventually became a manager with a distributor of computer supplies. This experience gave me a good grounding in business operations and practices.
I finally entered the life insurance business full-time in 1991. Like many of my colleagues, I started with a career company. I spent seven years as an agent there before I got my «entrepreneurial itch.» In 1998 I took my big step and started my own brokerage.
My primary motivation was and still is to sell life insurance the way I think it should be sold. I believe people are best served by someone who is a master of their craft.

I sell only life insurance. Not only that: I super-specialize in the «hard-to-place» cases. I have recaptured the lost art of «field underwriting.» Back in the day insurance salespeople were trained in prequalifying candidates for coverage. Of course people must be quoted a premium at which they will be approved! The company would look bad otherwise! I like to think I have restored a certain amount of honor to the process.
Yet I feel I have done more than bring traditional values into the business of selling life insurance: I have fully exploited the fantastic communications technology of the 20th and 21st centuries. It is because of the extensive use of the internet by people shopping for life insurance that I have become an active writer, blogger and thought leader. I am now licensed in 48 states (all except Alaska and Hawaii) because of the breadth of the demand for my services.
