Description

Specialties

Darron Networking provides technology support for all devices. We repair and reconfigure computers (Mac or PC). We also provide IT programming and planning services including website construction and database support.

History

Established in 1999.

Founded as a sideline, Darron Networking provided web hosting and internet programming for several small businesses after a local ISP changed its business model. Owner William Darron worked full time in the IT industry, and as a «hobby business» provided high value, low cost personal service to a small number of clients.

In 2012, Bill was «downsized» and decided to put a full time effort into this little business. Over the years, he has provided support for many computer networks and has supervised several technology upgrades of both hardware and software.

Today Darron Networking provides personalized service both on-site and remotely for hardware and network support. Projects include the upgrade of websites from older HTML versions to WordPress Content Management and responsive design, as well as project management for Information Technology initiatives.

Bill started out in the field of Radio and Television at an early age, and switched to the field of personal computers as they were introduced in the mid 1980’s. Bill moved into the area of database programming, creating systems for managing video tape libraries and connecting serial data collection devices to accounting systems. Eventually he reached the apex of his accounting career by programming a budgetary system for AT&T’s Bell Laboratory Research and Development Division.

When the Internet became commercialized in the early 1990’s, Bill started an ISP and web development firm, creating portions of web technology for some of the first websites built for major corporations. While working for Grey Advertising, he was the tech lead for Chase Manhattan Bank’s credit card application process,
