CLJ is a reliable landscaping service. I can only rate them based on lawn services as I haven’t used them for design. They show up weekly as scheduled and are respectful of me and my neighbors (they are mindful of the property lines). Scheduling them for services outside the normal weekly maintenance can be challenging (example, pruning bushes or sodding an area). The owner is so busy and says he will come give an estimate but you need to follow up repeatedly to get the actual service done. Once it’s complete, it is thorough and professionally done. I find that follow up is needed with any landscaping company. Must be the nature of the business.

Wost company the owener uses drugs and the company riped me off of hundreds after doing a planting for me. Do not call this guy he is out of fairlawn nj thanks Karl

CJL crews like to start mowing a lawn on my street around 7−715AM, Our town’s noise ordnance states that no lawn equipment may be used before 8AM on weekdays. I have now informed three of CJL’s crews of this ordnance with responses ranging from «I’m sorry, it won’t happen again» to «You’re the only one that complains, so we’ll start at the other end of the neighborhood. «WRONG ANSWER. Other people in the neighborhood are bothered by it as well, but 80+ year old women don’t exactly feel comfortable confronting a muscle shirt wearing, tattooed dude in front of their house. I have no issues discussing the issue with the workers calmly, but it has obviously had no effect as they have repeated it again and again.
It’s sad how this a local Fair Lawn company and it treats its «neighbors» like this.
I think their «F» rating with the Better Business Bureau speaks for itself:
