Great place, despite how busy they are they manage to keep this place super clean. BTW we come here all the way from queens.

One of the best sauna/​spa experiences I’ve had. Enjoyed every minute of it. Went with my fiancé and friends and we all had an amazing time. Definitely coming back here again!

First time today. Overall great place! One and only complaint I have, they allow kids. Now I love kids, I have a son of my own but some places they should just not be allowed to go too. You go to a spa to relax and they are so loud, jumping in the pool, hot tub ext. They are being kids.
But besides that I can’t wait to go back !!!
Saunas were amazing ! Food, fresh squeezed juices and tea’s. All yummy :) next time I go I will get a massage, I heard great things about them.

I’ve had massages across the U.S. and I have to say this is the BEST massage I’ve EVER had! Annie did mine and was absolutely wonderful. She easily picked out the bad areas and had an uncanny ability to locate and follow that muscle. I’ve been west coast, Midwest, east coast, from cheap to fancy, but have Emily paid more for a massage not nearly as good!
I also had a facial done. When calling, I was unsure, so they had they aesthetician decide after arrival. She not only picked the best for my face, but also gave me tips on skincare and how to look better all of the time!
Saunas were a great thing. My favorite was the Turkish sauna, which is so steamy you can’t see across the room. I did the plunge, head and all, upon prompting from other guests. It was great!
The food and drinks were fantastic! I love the ease of giving your card number and not having cash. Just try it and you won’t be disappointed!
Overall, I rate this a MUST! You must go here! I’m buying a 10-​pack of visits on the way out.

I went for the first time about 2 weeks ago and I had a great time, really no complaints. Fairly priced, not over packed, the people are nice and everything is straight forward which I love. I plan on visiting this weekend!

I took a vacation day from work and came here on Friday. The staff is SO incredibly friendly and welcoming. I had never been to a real spa before but they took me on a tour and explained what everything was for. I ended up spending the entire day there. I had a great massage and just hung out. Their food and drinks are great as well. I will definitely be returning.

This place is great! Saunas where clean and relaxing. Food is great too. Can’t wait to go back.

I was in awe upon making my first visit here today!
Did not imagine such a place existed so close to me! The staff was really friendly and overall its very clean. This is my first Banya experience, however, my first visit only included getting a hot stone massage and reflexology. Now that I know about the sauna and other options, I will definitely be back for more. Perfect after a stressful week!

This place is AS GOOD AS IT GETS!
The price is beyond perfect for the value and the level of service you receive at this awesome day spa.
The cleanliness and staff attentiveness is on point every time I go {this being my 3^rd visit with many more to come}.
The management of this facility is also very conscious to make the guest experiences 10 out of 10 every time, from providing tours of the facility to guiding you on the best Spa experience you can have.
So far I’ve tried all the Saunas as well as the Flotation Pods *5 out of 5 STARS*. My favorite experience is always the Aroma Sauna. I just feel it exfoliates my skin almost immediately.
If you’re in the area and are looking for a GREAT EXPERIENCE, look no further. Try out BRC, you wont be dissapointed.
*BONUS POINTS: The juices are AWESOME. Try the Apple pie or the Hangover Helper! :)

Not bad for the first time here at BRC. I didn’t really have expectations and the BF had a great time, so we will be back. You enter the spa by walking down a flight of stairs, then are greeted by the most serious, non smiling man I’ve seen in awhile. He’s courteous though curt.
Womens locker room is clean. Lockers available there, your «valuable personal items» are left in the front but you get the key on a rubber bracelet.

Great place, even better that its local. I have been now twice and this time I met the owner «Peter» and he told us the history of the location, how it came from nothing, and some quick cute stories of his celebrity clientele. The place is Russian owned and I specify that to point out they do a great job of infusing their practices in a way that comforts everyone.
Price wise they are totally reasonable for what they are offering, and they are on Groupon for an even better rate. I have yet to get any massages as the place itself is full of things to do to relax.
I suggest to bring a scrub, or mud and take advantage of the heated marble scrub room. They have a few saunas and steam rooms all of which are comfortable, spacious and HOT ! They have also a full bar and menu in case you want to have a meal. Outside of every room there are fresh towels which comes in great handy, they also have sandals for you to wear through out. Each visit has been on a weekday as I try to avoid a possible crowd or children while I am here. (I love children just a personal preference when I am at the spa to just want to be alone or in adult company)
I would absolutely return and recommend this place to anyone that will listen. I already gifted a visit to my sons teachers !

These guys have their saunas figured out. I only tried dry saunas (they have three). All were great. Plenty of heat, clean, and good smell.
Unfortunately cannot say the same about their food. It sucked. Hence the three star rating. Food in sauna is a quintessential part of the experience. And it ruined it for me. We tried three dishes. All three had quality and taste that of fast food. I am sorry.

My wife and I went here for the first time yesterday. I was nervous because we have never been to a day spa such as this. I was concerned that is was a locals only spot, but not the case. Boris was the gentleman who greeted us at the front counter. He was very friendly and accommodating. After we signed in and got changed into our bathing suits he took us on a 5 – 10 min. tour of the facility to get us acquainted with the space. It was very clean and there were so many unique areas.
We first when in the Turkish Sauna/​Steam room. It was my favorite. (More like a wet mist) Then the main pool for a few laps, followed by the Jacuzzi tub. Then we hit the dry and wet wood saunas. The dry one was too hot for us, at 190 degrees (and they even had a hotter one at over 200 degrees). My wife jumped in the ice plunge. (like a 4’x4’ tub of very cold water 40 – 50 degrees)
Then we had massages in different rooms. The massage area is in a different wing. It was beautiful. They had massage chairs in the lounge while you waited and cool mood lighting everywhere. Mine Swedish massage was by Irene and my wife’s Sports Massage by Annie. Both were great. As my wife put it, Annie was very strong and ‘man handled her” but in a good way. Irene was more gentle and used her forearms and elbows a lot. Overall solid massages. Very professional from my view point.
We ate lunch. I had the chicken and my wife the greek salad. Food was very tasty. You have to be prepared for half nude men/​women eating in a café, like setting.
I would highly recommend this place. I think it is better to go during the week, when we did, because Boris mentioned that it gets more crowded on the weekends, especially in the winter months. I would not be as much of a fan if this place was crowded, but our experience was excellent. Hence the glowing review.
I give this place a solid A. We will definitely be back.

–1 star for the service! Careless staff is always a turn off… however, the facilities are huge and very clean. It is definitely a place you want to go spend the day at and relax. They have a broad menu as well and the food was pretty tasty. I got a facial and my boyfriend a full body massage we were both satisfied with the experience.
**Bring flipflops and a robe !!

Brought my husband here for his birthday off a living social deal. I scheduled us a couple’s massage which felt more like him just rubbing tons of oil on me. There wasn’t much technique to it. My husband on the other hand got a wonderful massage from Annie.
After our massages we decided to hang around. My hubby went to the float pod which he enjoyed and I went to the relaxation room. We then went to the jacuzzi and saunas. There was a little bit of dirt in the pool so we bypassed that.
Overall we had a wonderful day here. The young man at the front desk was very friendly. The facilities were clean overall and we felt refreshed when we left. We will definitely come back.

Ive been spa hopping trying to find a place I can frequent when I need some relaxationn. Groupon had a deal so I decided to check it out. The man behind the desk wasn’t the most pleasant and the staff wasn’t inviting. There was no greeting, no introduction, no tour, no anything, I just had to navigate on my own.
The ladies room was clean but small. There are robes to rent for $ 5 as well as swimsuits and slippers (free of charge). There were several different sauna and relaxation rooms you could utilize depending on what you paid for. They offer massages, food and drinks. You can byob but there’s a cork charge.
Now I don’t know if it’s because I went during the day but there were a lot of elderly people there. Some of them had blatant disregard for hygiene because there were band-​aids in the jacuzzi.
I don’t think I’ll be returning.

There have been times when I have gone to various establishments of a particular national origin and have been treated less than cordially because I was not of that nationality. I guess it happens from time to time and I can even see where it might not be intentional. When I decided to go to BRC for the first time today, this is what I expected. While I am of Russian decent, I am 3^rd or 4^th generation American and am far removed from my grandparents’ roots. Boy, was I wrong.
Immediately upon entering I was greeted warmly by the front desk staff. Same with the waiters in the restaurant, towel attendants and even other patrons. My son and I would enter various sauna areas and be welcomed. It’s like the other people there could sense we were newbies and were anxious to indoctrinate us into the nuances of sauna and steam. And yes, there is a correct way to go about it, as we quickly learned.
What I also really liked was that today was different. My son and I always go to movies, concerts, games, shopping, eating, etc but there are few things we can do that are fun but allow us to spend the better part of the day laughing and chatting with each other. Great place. We will be back soon.

I live in north New Jersey and I discovered BRC approximately 3 years ago. Before I found BRC I would often drive out to lower Manhattan or Brooklyn to fulfill my Russian bathhouse fix… I have not left New Jersey To visit a ‘banya’ since!
Facilities
The Standard: They have 2 HOT dry saunas, one wet sauna (with the buckets for cold water dunks within), and one wet steam room. They also have an ice cold dunk pool, as well as 2 ice cold high-​flow showers outside of each sauna. I am a huge fan of the Russian style hot-​to-​cold mentality; It truly is a one-​of-​a-​kind feeling! For those not into the ice water thing there is a very large heated standard pool as well.
The Not-​So-​Standard: They recently added an upstairs level with three new high-​end spa treatments. Everything up there is brand-​new. One of their new offerings, the ‘Float Pod’ Caught my attention some time back; I just had a chance to try it for the first time A few days ago… Awesome. Tip: If you decide to try the Float Pod make sure you read up on it online ahead of time so you understand how to utilize it as the manufacturers intended. This will ensure you get the most out of your experience (what position to float in, breathing exercises… etc.).
Food: The portion sizes are quite large. I like to order the Greek salad that comes with a sort of dried, salted shredded beef on top and can pretty much satisfy my appetite (that’s saying a LOT for a salad) and a side of borscht. Everything I have tried on the menu has been very good, I have yet be disappointed.
Drink: Although they do have a liquor license they also permit you to BYOB for a small corking fee (Approximately $ 15 for a bottle of vodka, and less for beer or wine). They also have a wide selection of tea and fresh made juices.
Grab a bottle of vodka, a friend or two and head over and have a great time. You wont be disappointed!
