Cravin Haven

Cravin Haven is closed now. A new restaurant is in this location: Seed to Sprout. A vegan place w sandwiches, smoothies, salads. tea, coffee, etc.

So I should have listened to the other reviews on Unilocal.My son, who is a bit of a foodie, was dying to try Cravin Haven because of the sandwiches he saw online. To start, the atmosphere was very poor. The floor was dirty, tables sticky, and just very boring overall. The soda fountain dispenser had 5 out of 12 possible options out of order, not to mention the carbonation being off on Coke Zero. We ordered some of their large Cravin sandwiches, a couple of kids menu items for our little ones, and my wife got a salad with grilled chicken. The food was processed and not fresh at all… The sandwiches were okay, but I could have purchased better ingredients from the grocery store and made the sandwiches better at home. Also — way overpriced! Very disappointing overall and I would not recommend this place to anyone. There are many better local options in the area for good food!

Eh. I got food delivered and it took over an hour. Burger was huge, but it was bland. They didn’t pack any extras like ketchup or mustard, either. The onion rings were soggy, but tasted good. I’d give it another shot if I find myself in Fair Haven sometime soon, but wouldn’t do delivery again.

Basically it’s a brick and mortar that serves food truck sandwiches but for more money. Cole slaw wasn’t even made from scratch. Wings sauce tasted like Heinz. Deep fried Oreos were good but then again what isn’t good when it’s deep fried. I got a glimpse of the kitchen when using the bathroom and just looked grimy. Website says they are «open late» (Fri and Sat till 10). I’d sooner go to the 24 hour diner in Red Bank or Jrs burgers who are open till 3am.

Literally the most amazing food ive ever had!!! I got the chicken fingers and fries. The chicken was perfectly crispy and easy to eat. The fries had amazing sea salt on them. Even the honey mustard was great. THEN I tried the fried Oreos. I cant even describe how good they are. I am coming back tomorrow! Also, I had it delivered and they were so quick and had a very nice delivery man. Comfort food is exactly what I got. Lifted my mood to even eat it. Thank you Cravin Haven!
PS: my nephew is now obsessed with the fried Oreos and the only problem is that he ate them all.

A Chicago hot dog is $ 8? Gotta be a typo on the menu right? Even in Chicago a huge dog is $ 5.50.

How does it take 25 minutes to make fish and chips? This is the most ridiculous place. It’s not even busy.
