Charles Lindsay and Dr Michael McCandless have been serving patients throughout Chester County for over 39 years. We provide advanced diagnostic audiology testing for patients with hearing loss as well as balance (vestibular) assessments for patients with vertigo, imbalance, or dizziness. We work with the latest in hearing aid technology, including the Lyric extended-wear invisible hearing aid. We have devices that fit every patient’s needs and budget. Payment plans are available, including 0% interest for 12 months. Our mission is to provide every patient with the finest care possible. We have been in practice for over 39 years for one reason, our patients refer their friends and family because they recognize the outstanding care we try to provide each day.
History
Established in 1974.
Associates in Audiology, with locations in Exton and Pottstown, is a regional center of excellence for Audiology services including the diagnosis and treatment of hearing loss, tinnitus, and vestibular disorders. Established in 1974, Associates in Audiology is the leading Chester County provider of advanced hearing aid technology from all major hearing aid manufacturers focusing on positive outcomes prior to collecting payment. Our Doctors of Audiology are Exton and Pottstown hearing aid experts and have been routinely called upon by TV and print media as well as serving as Expert Witnesses in cases involving hearing loss secondary to injury. We also serve as a training site for Doctor of Audiology interns so that our methods remain on the cutting edge of technological and instructional issues related to hearing loss.

Manager
Dr. McCandless has been trained to diagnose and treat hearing loss, tinnitus, and peripheral vestibular impairments including BPPV. He attended St Joseph’s Prep and was awarded his Bachelor of Science degree from Saint Joseph’s University. He performed his Doctoral work at Salus University (formerly The Pennsylvania College of Optometry School of Audiology). Dr. McCandless completed his clinical fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC and practiced in Tampa, FL for five years prior to joining Associates in Audiology. Dr. McCandless is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, the Vestibular Disorders Association of America, and is clinically certified in Audiology by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
