Nice large king sized room with a large bathroom. Iron didn’t work great, had something sticky on it. Worked well enough that I looked presentable. Austin, front desk clerk, was awesome. Ran off copies for me when I had a copy emergency and printed directions for me. Overall, a great hotel!

Staff put us in a room that just had the carpets cleaned. Carpet was soaked. Luggage and socks were soaked. Wife slipped and fell twice on slick tile floor in the room from the moisture from wet carpets. We were told to «just go to dinner and it will be dry when you get back». Carpets were still damp when we departed. Ice maker on our floor was out of service. Hot tub was open but full of dead skin and other debris. Jets didn’t work. Disgusting. Worst hotel stay in a long time. Will not be back. Paid well over 200 a night in an effort to ensure a quality experience for my family and very disappointed.

I stayed here on a summer week-​end night on my way to points north. This hotel was quiet, well-​appointed, and clean. Rooms were large so you do not feel shoehorned in. However, the cost per night per room was a whopping $ 250. In addition you must call 24 hours ahead to cancel your reservation. I knew this when I made the reservation. However, I had two rooms. I requested that they be near each other and on the first floor since I had two of the four people in my party have issues with stairs. This request was not met, even though I had made my reservation more than one month ahead of time. I was told by the desk staff that the first floor rooms were taken by in house staff.

This place is perfect for what we using for your stay here want to be in town on business and the rooms are clean the beds are comfortable the bathroom is big and clean and the staff is very friendly. have a complementary breakfast in the morning with your basics eggs and omelette sausage oatmeal juices which are all great for what they are. steff here is also great with giving recommendations about restaurants or places to go and see during downtime. The fitness center is good small but they have what you would need for a good workout the only thing you’re missing is maybe a whole bar with the TV so you could sit and have a drink if you want to and I have to leave the hotel. The Wi-​Fi is a little slow and hard to connect to give you one free day on the house after that you have to pay if you’re in the area looking for a clean quiet place to stay this is a great spot

Stayed here for a business trip, and really I couldn’t have asked for better. Great room, spacious bathroom/​tub/​shower, very clean. Excellent highway location as well. They’re complimentary breakfast was great, it wasn’t just the usual bagels and muffins, they had eggs and sausage as well, which for someone who watches their carb intake, was a lifesaver. The staff was friendly and accommodating, plenty of parking. Overall great spot to have to work from. Close to downstown Exeter.

Excellent one night stay here on New Years. Was able to book the day prior and the rate was still really reasonable. Front desk staff was super helpful and accommodating. Room was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Huge bathroom and nice additional touches.
Breakfast in the morning a step above continental and decent enough for what it is. It appears they have coffee all the time which is also a nice touch.
Would highly recommend, and maybe even consider an alternative to staying in Portsmouth.

I do not like to stay in hotels… but this one was very good.
Stayed on a Mon and Tuesday nights. Got an awesome corner room. Was very pleased.
It was clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly. Awesome free breakfast in the morning and if you wanted a breakfast bag to go they had that as well. And fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at night.
easy to get to off the highway.
I’ll be staying here again next time I go to classes at Sig Sauer.

Ok, the hotel was wonderful, the rooms were great, the beds cozy and everything was modern. 3 stars for me was because of the awful juice in the morning. I know it is free and I shouldn’t expect much but it was awful each day. I kept thinking it was going to be better the next day but it wasn’t. It was watered down each day. All the juices were the same for me.
I am staying here again in a week for another 5 day work trip. I will see how the juice is this time around.
Everyone that worked here was friendly and helpful. I loved the layout of the rooms and the bathrooms. Overall it was a very nice experience minus the juice.

I stayed here a few nights and it was very good overall. The first night was rough, there was some kind of traveling sports stuff for kids. The thought process of putting my room right next to one of theirs? I have no idea! They were very loud so I called at about 1030pm. I asked to move rooms the next day but they were sold out. The lady at the desk assured me she would talk to the coaches, I didn’t have any further problems. The rooms are very clean and the hotel is in a good location. They have a free breakfast in the morning and some pretty decent coffee. Overall good experience and I would go back.

Evidently I was a lot less impressed by this hotel than everyone else who stayed here! I will say that the room was clean and up to snuff the with standard cookie cutter hotel rooms. It was clean and in good shape. I’d say this is the most important thing but also what you’d expect from a hotel at the price it is.
That said, the girl at the front desk was not the most friendly and when I got to the front desk, she was talking to someone who appeared to be a friend of hers and made me feel like I was interrupting her asking her where a good place to get food is locally.
In addition, I found their breakfast to be mediocre, particularly when the orange juice seemed watered down compared to most hotel juices at hotels. I also went to the front where they have hot water and coffee after running a bit to get some hot water and the water was empty and no one was at the front desk. If 3 stars is A-​ok, this is definitely a 2 in my book!

I stayed at this Hampton Hotel for a night last week. My time here was brief, but it met all of my needs as a business traveler. My room was huge, I’m not sure if it was an upgrade or not but it was very nice! It was equipped with both a microwave and a mini fridge so I was able to nuke dinner after a long day on the road. The best was comfy and the bath tub was large. They also had a large desk with numerous plugs. There is nothing I hate more than an old hotel with difficult to find outlets. Seriously! It is 2011, people need to charge their cell phones. The internet was pretty slow, but that is typical of most hotels.
Overall, I liked this Hampton Inn better than most Hampton Inns. I would stay here again!
